Where is all the damn sweetcorn?
I have seen precious little in the market and its like 50c an ear field corn.
Where's the crop?!! I am seriously jonesing

None at Wal-mart? I got 6 ears for 28 cents ea. there last week. I’m buying now from the kid juggling ears in front of the Methodist church.
I’m grilling some now.
We don’t have enough illegal immigrant workers to pick the sweet corn since Gov. Brewer passed that racist law. They’re afraid to come out of hiding now.
Sorry bud!
I am in Texas.
We have squat for corn this year
I hear ya! Got some in Northern IL last weekend, finally. The corn crop is ahead of schedule, but sweet corn is behind. Now after 12” of rain in the last 3 days I’m not sure what will happen to the crops.
(Ahem. GT thread?)
Now thems folks I could call neighbor
I have some in my back yard if ya want ... but it didn’t do as well this year as other years.
Just cooked 6 ears to go with dinner tonight. We’re doing fine around here.
How’s the rain been?
We’ve had a good watering season.
Maybe you just need to wait for the rain to work its way down?
I had the best Jersey Sweet Corn of the year tonight.
Dude! Butter! Lots of butter and salt and Pepper and I add some dried jalapeno spice sometimes
I know folks that take a coleman stove in the field and will bend a cob down on the stalk into the pot so as they get it fresh
I tell ya the market is weak around here
Try the Dallas Farmers Market in downtown Dallas.

Ah, you have the same corn “problem” that I do!
Its raining now.
It rained about 2 ~ 3 weeks back too
Good slow soaker this afternoon
We got bupkis for corn here
“Sadly I think you are correct.
The crop this year is weak.”
Out here in IL there’s plenty of corn.
This has been an unusually cool, rainy summer in northern Idaho. Today was (I think) the first day we cracked 90. In a couple of weeks we're gonna be buried in the stuff. W00t!
