People who have a problem with Apple shouldn’t have bought one.

I didn't write what you quoted above. That was driftdiver, as I recall.

The only thing a conservative should ask himself (or herself) when choosing a computer is: can it play EVE Online at an adequate FPS level to keep you from losing your ship in combat?

I was up in my attic not too long ago and came across a pristine copy of WIRED magazine from 1994. It was in excellent condition, just as when I bought it off the Barnes & Noble magazine shelf some 16 years ago.

There were articles and ads on Prodigy, Gateway 2000, UseNet, Broderbund CD-ROMs and even "Internet In A Box".

Or would you simply create another Civil War thread?

Something like a Civil War thread, only without the thread.

ENIAC was where it was at before Assembly Language. You had to be the man to program that machine.

True. If you were a woman, you had to use a stepstool to reach everything.

There is an ethernet interface and an IP stack available for it. I don’t think there is a browser, however.

Is that like really good C-4?

It has an REF of about 13, if my beer-sodden math isn't too terribly far off. It'd have a mind-bending expansion rate.

I'm having fun trying to imagine it. :-)

No fair. Does this mean that I can’t go on a PC thread and talk trash about my PC, along with all of the Microsoft products that repeatedly fail on it? ;)
