All I know at 61 years old I can look back at some stupid things I did as a teenager that would have made & DID make my parents “less than enthused” with my choices. I wonder if all the critical ones here have the same experience? I guess my point being at some time in our teen years (A.K.A. “the genius phase!”) we all make poor choices regardless of our parents values, concerns, threats, punishments, etc.
