WTAE Channel 4 Action News anchor Michelle Wright went to the resort's wildlife academy on Wednesday to meets its newest white lion cub up close and personal.
"There are only 30 white lions in the world. We've had our lions for about 3 1/2 years now, and this is our first litter, so it's very special. Most of the babies are in South Africa, so for us to have one in the U.S. is very special," said animal program manager Mandy Burnsworth.

I didn’t know there was an animal preserve at Nemacolin.

Yeah, though I'm not sure what they have up there.
Years ago it was actually a game/fishing preserve owned by the Rockwell family. I think they had about 2000 acres and fathers and grandfathers of my buddies tell how they guided there and also how they'd sneak in and "poach" when times were tough.
Had European Red Stags and such, can't remember what else.
