Having your appeal thrown out as ‘frivolous’ is considered a win?

It’s all about the judge keeping her family healthy. What else could she do?

I love this part... "The issue of the president's citizenship was raised, vetted, blogged, texted, twittered, and otherwise massaged by America's vigilant citizenry during Mr. Obama's two-year campaign for the presidency, but this plaintiff wants it resolved by a court," Robertson wrote.

VIGILANT CITIZENRY I TELL YOU!!! The CITIZENRY was so VIGILANT that not one of them to this day can show you the document that provides the hospital Barry was born in!! Robertson is just one of the condescending schmucks in this whole situation. A judge with his whole defense of Barry built on HEARSAY! What has our nation come to?

A lower court dismissed the action, claiming the plaintiffs lack "standing" to make a claim about an alleged violation of the Constitution – meaning they weren't personally "injured" by the act.

BS. Every American has standing and voters have a personal interest. Our vote is an intimate, personal act. In our past, some groups were denied the right to vote. Were they injured by that denial? Of course.

If obama is not eligible, has our right to vote not been denied by fraud? Our vote has been invalidated, our right to vote has been infringed and we have all been personally injured by those who have perverted the process and injured by the results.

So by having to pay for “frivolous” lawsuits, they have been “injured”, thereby creating standing!

That’s brilliant, I think they have him :)

Who has standing to sue if a president is thought to have done something forbidden by the Constitution?

For instance, if the president ordered torture and it was believed to be against the Constitution, who would have standing to bring the Constitutionality of the action before SCOTUS? Could anybody besides a person subsequently tortured do so? Could Congress do so? Who would have “standing”?

If anybody knows who all the legal eagles are here, can you ping them? Or if you’re a legal eagle, I’d really like to know the answer to this.
