ZEPHYRHILLS -- New developments in the murder of a Pasco County cartoon writer who vanished in May have just been released.
According to Zephyrhills Police Department, Stephen Perry's body was found completely dismembered and they're looking at one of his roommates as the prime suspect in his murder.
Zephyrhills Chief of Police David Shears said he knows who brutally murdered former Thundercats screenwriter Perry.
"An arrest warrant was served on James Davis today," Shears said.
Davis was Perry's roommate in his Zephyrhills home and has been a 'person of interest' since Perry went missing in May.
Zephyrhills police are now confirming that the body parts found scattered around the Bay area belong to Perry.

I don't understand how one human being can do this to another. It has to be the drugs.

No. They are sinners. Drugs and/or immorality makes a sinner evil.
True they are sinners, but they are soulish fallen people. Drugs don’t make people evil, they may amplify or accelerate that state, but that is who humans are without God. To believe that it is “ the drugs” that cause them to do such things is naive. There are many many people that do evil things that are not on drugs.
I think many people do not want to come to grips with the thought that people are capable of heinous behavior,because it unnerves their world view. The world view that says... “I’m not a bad person, so other people cant be all that bad”
It’s quite remarkable that we are so acclimated to the goodness of the human heart, that we are obliged to attribute extraordinary cause to explain its absence on occasion.

What I meant was that when you take any mind altering substance, you open yourself to be controlled by evil. I have no idea what your beliefs are but mine are that there is evil roaming, looking for people to "use" and control.
I think we fundamentally agree. However I believe most people would under certain circumstances and situations “entertain the thought of killing another” While dismembering is a logistical act in most cases ( Dahmer being an exception) I believe those that are secular oriented would get there easier than those that dont. Drugs may lower the inhibitions a bit but the “entertained thoughts” are what the cause of it.

I agree with that. And society is further degrading. The society of "me" is taking over.

I believe that drugs and alcohol don't merely lower inhibitions. I believe that we are subject to possession while we are not in control.
If we are honest, we do know our own hearts. And of course, God knows what we even hide from ourselves.
