Has Eliza Dushku Been Cast In ‘Ghostbusters 3’?
TV Com ^ | 07/03/10 | Trent

Harold Ramis said "Ghostbusters" had gone into pre-production and would be out by Christmas 2012, and rumors surrounding the cast started being spread, like Bill Murray possibly appearing as a ghost, and Eliza Dushku joining the team as a female Ghostbuster.

And now Eliza Dushku has really piqued fans curiosity, as she recently posted the above photo on her Twitter account, with the following tweet: "Check me out.. I REALLY like THIS get-up! Lol. Who ya gonna call!"

It could of course mean nothing, but word from the Supanova convention in Australia, where the above picture was taken, has Eliza saying that she's signed on to a big movie and is waiting for the studio to make an announcement. So if that's true, could it be "Ghostbusters ? It seems highly likely.

IMDB also has Eliza listed as "rumored" for the part of Scarlet Witch in Joss Whedon's upcoming "The Avengers", so it could be that, too. Either way, with SDCC just a few short weeks away, we shouldn't have to wait too much longer to find out.

The scrips for sequels tend to be pretty weak, but go ahead anyway. I ain't fraid of no ghostwriters.

If it was my production though I'd push the opening date up before the Dec 21, 2012 Mayan Calendar end of the world. Not wait four days after.

Ghostbusters 2 was halfway decent. What was never explained way how the Sigourney Weaver character went from being a cellist in the first movie to an art restorer with a bastard child in the next. That made no sense. And never a peep about whether or not the kid was Venkmans’.

It’s official. Hollywood has run out of ideas. Next thing you know they’re going to be issuing a sequel to Tron.

If this is tongue-in-cheek, okay. They are coming out with a new “TRON”. Not sure which way it is going to go (have forgotten) but it should be interesting.

TRON was the first all computer-generated image film.

PS: Cindy Morgan looked good tool Still does.

Glau was hot in “Serendity”. She made Buffy seem like an amateur, and I liked Buffy.

Dushku is also hot, but stay away from her when she’s got a knife in her hand. She doesn’t always hit the right target.

According to my sources, the world will end on February 14, in the year 2016.

Eliza has a movie coming out this year called “Locked In”, which will probably be just another one of her failed movie efforts.

She does OK, it’s just the movies are mostly uninspired. Alphabet Killer, Wrong Turn (cheezy, but scary enough that I will never pull onto a dirt road in West Virginia), The New Guy (which actually is pretty funny, if a bit campy), Nobel Son...

Dennis Hopper did a “what next” to “Easy Rider” one night in the 1980s as the intro to SNL.
