One month after the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman, police reportedly said a landscaper told them the Oregon boy's stepmother tried to hire him to kill her husband, Kaine Horman.
After a month with no trace of Kyron the family still hopes for his safe return. The allegation, first reported in The Oregonian but confirmed by ABC News affiliate KATU-TV in Portland through a source close to the investigation, thickens the cloud of suspicion surrounding Terri Horman, the last person to see Kyron before he went missing on June 4
The landscaper allegedly told police that Terri Horman approached him about killing her husband six or seven months before Kyron disappeared, the sources said.

To the best of my knowledge the babysitter has NEVER been identified, and there is no report of Baby K being with her babysitter on the morning of June 4th. Terri alleges that her daughter had a bad earache (presumably from teething) and drove around the back roads in rural areas to calm her down and get her to sleep.
Allegedly... he passed his LDT, and allegedly there would be scads of security cameras all over Intel in Hillsboro, so apparently his timeline for himself checked out fine.
Here’s a timeline for Terri from “various sources” so don’t know if it’s accurate or what. So, she had the baby and there’s no mention of a babysitter (other forums had mentioned Kaine had the baby and there was a babysitter?!?).
The grocery store videos are the key. If they can show her shopping, then where was Kyron? Who had or where was the baby during the science fair and before 10:10 when Terri was driving her around? I dunno, but IF her story pans out, the only thing questionable would be the driving around with the baby and that’s plausible because many babies will fall asleep easier with the motion of a car. Give the baby an hour and a half nap and she might have felt better so Terri went to the gym.
The 11:39 - 12:40 the gym sounds pretty exact and that someone (LE or reporters?) has verified it. That time would fit with Dede’s “disappearance” so Dede might have been with her since they work out together. LE verified that the pictures of the science fair was posted at 1:21 so giving her 15-20 minutes to drive home and do the normal potty/drink/change clothes/etc. fits, imo. Of course, that’s assuming the gym verified her check in/out time.
The article says she emailed the teacher asking when to pick up the science project so that can be verified. That’s reasonable, too. Maybe Terri hadn’t taken the project home because the school left the projects on display all day or the teachers took some back to their rooms so they kids could enjoy them for a couple more days.
I’m just worried that Tyler (?), the 7th grader, was right in that Kyron was at school after 9 and that no one is looking at a stranger abduction.

The sock guy should be talking to the media. Get his story on the 5 o’clock news and then watch the poo hit the fan when the locals demand an explanation from 911 and the sheriff departments.
Oh, back to the cell phone pings to the island area, well, it’s amazing sometimes which tower picks up the signal. Just the other day a friend of mine was laughing about getting her bill and that some were from many miles away from where the phone really was. We have gps on our phones and they’ll show up at the goofiest places. A few weeks ago, one phone was in the other room but kept showing up like 15 driving miles away or maybe 8 miles as the crow flies.
No sooner did word break Thursday that authorities were putting the squeeze on a close friend of the stepmother last known to have seen missing second-grader Kyron Horman, a parallel investigation kicked into gear far from Tualatin where DeDe Spicher lives.
In real time, members of true crime Internet forums around the country began searching for the woman's footprint in the public domain.
Forget Googling. Online sleuths unearthed Spicher's health and gardening page on blogspot.com (she's a fitness junkie!), then her Twitter account was revealed. Next came a two-year-old photo on Flicker from a fundraising race, and finally, Spicher's post on Terri Horman's Facebook page 36 hours after Kyron was last reported being seen outside his Skyline Elementary classroom: "Thinking of you and Kaine and praying for Kyron's safe return."
By dawn, the vetting was in full swing. Members of ScaredMonkeys.net and Insessiontrials.com crime forums outed Spicher's father as a member of the Klamath County Sheriff's Office, one of scores of agencies that helped search for Kyron. And threads by commenters on other sites were exploring Spicher's tax, real estate and ancient online records.
"The crime blogs are like Monday morning quarterbacking, only it's everyday, all day and all night," said Michael Vallez, a former Florida police officer turned social media strategist who blogs about the intersection of law enforcement and social media.......

Thanks for the ping!
Yes, I saw the airport sighting post but missed the camping sighting. All need to be taken seriously and checked out. Where did you read about the camping sighting and where was the camp?
The poster is named Daydreamer, and has made very few total posts:
I think that somewhere Daydreamer mentions that the witness is a school teacher -- i.e., someone who should not be confusting ten year olds with a small-for-his-age under 4 feet, 50 pound seven year old.
You know.... I cannot imagine why Kyron is so tiny, as certainly neither of his bio parents are particularly small?????
Some noses are more delicate than others. She may not care or notice that she smells (if she indeed worked out). Yep, what did she wear to school? Did she go home after grocery shopping to put things away and then changed into workout clothes? Or did were they already in Kaine's truck? I haven't seen anything about her clothes or if LE might have taken them or checked out her shoes. I don't know if it's fact or rumor but read that Terri did Kyron's laundry and his bedding. Surely, hopefully, LE would have done forensics on his stuff before this. The laundry thing doesn't necessarily mean anything either way. I've known people who want their deceased (still praying Kyron is alive and well) loved one's room left exactly the way it was and others want it spic and span. Also, somewhere in there she should have fed the baby so when and where? With LE not saying anything it's all assumption on our part.
That's a short day unless he went in very early in the AM. Does he normally leave work at 1:45? The 45 is an odd time. One the hour or the half hour is more the norm.
I'm still wondering why it took both parents to meet the bus that afternoon. How close to the house is the bus stop? Is it close enough to just peek out the front door or what? Did they walk or drive to it?
In other words, I am going for the father as the bad guy. Something is wrong about taking a 3 day old infant from his mother...
I could be entirely mistaken, but it is my impression that the person who received the 6/10 Portland International Airport sighting of Kyron accompanied by a red haired female is the owner of this website:
Kyron Hormon | True Crime in the 21st Century
http://www.truecrimeinthe21stcentury.com/topics/kyron-hormon/
AND.... that if you register at the website that you have access to "forums" or webpages where they privately sleuth out people in the crime news. Evidentally there is a "working page" about Dede Spicher, but one must be a member to be able to view it.
I'm certain that occasionally when I've done google searches that participatory webpages from this site occasionally show up in the google search results.
I presume that the “sock guy” who is a law professor will be subponaed by Terri’s high calibre defense attorney; talk about a great Expert Witness to discuss the investigation, hey???
Kyron's mother at that time had kidney failure and had to travel to Canada, somewhere in Canada, for medical treatment.
When she returned, she was over $30,000 in debt and went home to live with her parents during her long physical recuperation.
Fetal alcohol kids are small.
Where did you get that information?
I thought it VERY peculiar that when asked this, he replied via email that such information wouldn't assist in returning Kyron home, so he wouldn't answer it.
There have been sooooooo many rumors about sooooooo many things regarding all the adults in this case, that I am really curious if they were all active participants in a Portland area adult swingers' club; such things were alleged by anonymous posters in the comments sections of early newspaper articles posted online.
I also wonder very much if these adults were so individually self-absorbed that they might not have had the capability to even notice if someone at the gym, say, was enamoured with Kyron and even maybe stalking him.
I'm sure you could find dozens of websites if you do a search at google -- let me see what I can find for ya.
