One month after the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman, police reportedly said a landscaper told them the Oregon boy's stepmother tried to hire him to kill her husband, Kaine Horman.
After a month with no trace of Kyron the family still hopes for his safe return. The allegation, first reported in The Oregonian but confirmed by ABC News affiliate KATU-TV in Portland through a source close to the investigation, thickens the cloud of suspicion surrounding Terri Horman, the last person to see Kyron before he went missing on June 4
The landscaper allegedly told police that Terri Horman approached him about killing her husband six or seven months before Kyron disappeared, the sources said.

Why did Kaine get custody of Kyron instead of Desiree?
I totally agree with you.
So help me, don't MOST Americans know that any lawyer would tell you to NEVER speak to the LEOs unless your own attorney is present? I mean... isn't that really common knowledge in this day & age?
Don't most people know that LDTs aren't admissable as evidence in any court of law -- and thus, if you read crime blogs & crime chat boards, that you should NEVER consent to taking a polygraph test??
AND.... really.... just think of all the possible extracuricular activities that two gorgeous redheads MIGHT be engaged in.... I mean there are thousands of innocent things, and there are thousands of potentially really embarressing things, ya know???? Affairs, porn, prostitution, dope dealing, etc/etc/etc.
It will be interesting to read whatever the LEOs release today, in response to all the submitted questions of a few days back.
THEN, at least, we might have a few stray FACTS, here & there, to discuss....
The story reported in press accounts is that Desiree had kidney failure, and signed over custody to Kaine when she left the USA for medical treatment in Canada.
I have NO idea if press accounts are true & accurate.
Terri Moulton Horman had told her mom that she was a close friend of Desiree's and it was at this time that she moved into Kaine's house with her son James, in order to care for Kyron.
Desiree has recently stated, however, that she was NO friend of Terri's and never spoke to her at any time before Kyron was a year & a half old.

Ok, so there’s a case here and allegations with texting and certain people are all up in arms about what messages might or might not mean. This is a sore subject for me right now. Bottom line, most times it means exactly what is says. And another thing, who knows if the owner of the phone text’ed it or if they loaned their phone out to someone else who made the phone call or the text. I rarely, like less than 50 and probably just a couple dozen times total, have text-ed anyone because you don’t get voice inflections and too many times it is taken out of context.
The mom had severe kidney disease and had to leave the country to live with her parents. The parents have said that they came to the decision to leave Kyron in the country with his dad beliving that was in his best interests.
thanks!

Thanks.
Have y’all seen this detailed account of the drive along Hwy 30?

Egads! That GLP thread goes on for 12 pages already and so much fighting that I gave up. Random clicking through the fighting I happened to see talk about Dede and Terri having a thing together and that the OP has a dozen accounts. Sounds troll-y. The “cousin” claims reports are that a blue Explorer was the other vehicle seen driving fast on the road with the white truck. He/she claims Dede drives a blue Explorer. However, I’ve searched and can find no mention of a blue explorer anywhere. The only car I’ve heard about is a red Mustang. Something else that I think the poster is wrong about is this going to jury on Monday. Guess we’ll have to wait and see on that.
Not much info in this but did find the wording about “hoping” he’s alive from LE a lot less positive than their earlier stance that he was alive. I suspect the “significant” progress is nothing but appeasing the public. It does say they haven’t spoken with Terri since she hired a fancy pants attorney so I’m sure it’s her attorney who’s advising her not to talk. LE searched three friend’s homes with two of those in Tualatin (guessing Dede’s and probably Cook’s?). Wonder who the third one is?

However, the cousin came out with family details which have since been substantiated by other online research, stuff which wasn't in the MSM.
At Scared Monkeys, last night, the admin said they weren't worried about this cousin because, thus far, they had not stated one single thing that hadn't turned out to be inaccurate.I'm not following the precise thread at GLP anymore, the last time I"d been current with it was on PAGE 4, lol, and today it's over a dozen pages long with numerous guests who post as "Anonymous Coward," -- and some real posters who forgot to put their userids on their posts ALSO showing up as, "Anonymous Coward." So I find it VERY difficult to follow.
But the commentary ABOUT the thread which is at Scared Monkeys is very interesting and VERY easy to follow.
RE: the CSI t-shirts. I learned at another board that there had been a large CSI-Exhibit at a local museum and that is where all the CSI t-shirts came from; either they were given away there or else lots of people in Portland purchased the exact same t-shirt at the museum gift shop.
Last night I learned at Scared Monkeys that one known tip called in locally and also reported to the FBI is that someone saw an IDENTICAL Kyron, same eyeglasses, same hair, etc/etc. who was standing in line with a red-haired female at an airport.
The person who posted this said that the tipster was VERY upset as obviously noone was taking her seriously.
I think the reason this was discussed last night is that the redhead seen with Kyron-Lookalike at the airport was NOT Terri Moulton, but now that there are other redheads associated with this case, evidentally there are TWO different sightings of Kyron with a redhead NOT Terri, but who are definitely associated with the Horman family. The other sighting was at a campground, and the person who saw him was a TEACHER who only learning about the missing person's case when they returned from camping a couple few days AFTER June 4th.
There is something that I am finding very perplexing.
People following this case are aware that when Kaine returned home from work, he saw Terri on the computer dressed in her workout clothing.
And we know from details leaked about her version of the timeline is that she allegedly went to a 24-hour gym for an hour before returning home.
My perplexity is this . . . .
Has anybody ever mentioned precisely what she was wearing when she took Kyron to school? Surely the LEOs have pics and/or video footage of the clothing TERRI was wearing that morning.
Question: has her initial PRE-gym clothes ever been described anywhere online, and does anyone know IF they were located by LEOs during search warrants and if the clothing she wore first thing in the morning were taken into evidence????
WHY would anyone return home in sweaty smelly workout garb????
Thank you.
I am starting to wonder IF that was really a tip called in???
OR... was that something that some online "psychic" dreamed up???
“3:30 p.m. Terri Horman goes to meet the school bus and discovers that Kyron has been absent all day. (Kaine Horman went with her to meet the bus, a fact that emerges during a television interview on June 25.)”
Odd that both parents would go meet the bus. Kaine being at the house would certainly narrow the window of opportunity. Has the babysitter ever commented on if/when Kaine or someone else dropped off or picked up the baby? Wasn’t he supposed to have the baby that day? Is there a timeline of where he was that day?
