That’s way too much money to spend on a device which does only one thing. On top of that, I do not like the idea of DRM attached to books.
We have a Kindle and we use it for hours every day. I download blogs, read-alouds for my kids, many of their homeschool books, classics (all were free), and even Army survival reference books. It’s the single best gift we’ve received as a family in years. It took a few days to get used to reading a book in this form, but now I love it. If you can, buy one. Being able to instantly get a new book from just about anywhere in the world is one of the best features. I subscribe to Townhall, National Review Online, and American Thinker, don’t need to have an internet connection, and can read their articles no matter where I am. The Kindle is worth every penny and then some.
That was quick. I just tried to buy one and they’re sold out. :^(
I like the $0 Kindle Reader on my iPad. :)
