I’d wager the poor soul was futzing around with a phone.
Glad you’re ok. Best wishes.
I would simply send them the photo and say “Thank You”
The Saturn. Witnesses say that my rear end went up, the truck did a 180, and I landed in the same lane. (This probably saved my life, since my body probably didn't actually move very much at all. The car was already at an angle when she struck me, so she must have spun and flipped into the ditch. (Prayers for her and her family would be appreciated.)
My son survived a head-on collision with a Mack truck in a Ford Expedition. He got out and helped the other driver after crossing the yellow line. I praise God, of course, and he’s used the experience in his testimony with church youth groups.
That’s sad and a horrible thing to be involved in. Glad you’re okay and I’m sorry for the other family’s loss.
Prayers for quick healing and thanks for your safety.
My prayers and condolences to the family of the other driver.
I love my F-150. A great machine, and in your case a life saver. I take it another trip to the Ford dealer will be in the cards soon.
So, now that the Almighty has my FULL and undivided attention... and clearly doesn’t want me yet... I’m hoping that I can figure out exactly what His purpose is for me and get to working on it!
Glad you are able to post this.
I’m assuming you did not have a front seat passenger...or your losses could have been worse......glad you were safe....sorry to hear about the other driver...(were they drunk???)
big American vehicles are the only way to travel. nice to have some metal between you and the rest of the world.
I was t-boned in my crown vic wagon 10 years ago...by a 1 ton pickup, with dulie rear wheels that blew a light...going about 50 hitting the driver side door....pushed me diagonally through the intersection about 70 feet....it popped 3 tires off the rims...we changed 1 and refilled the others and I drove it away...I did get some whiplash back and neck pain but being he hit the front pillar it did not crush the vehicle.
That’s amazing. Glad to hear you’re ok.
If lawyers are going to be involved make sure you secure her cell phone records.
The only thing I have liked better than my old 1998 F-150 that I drove for ten years is my 2006 F-350 I got for a song in 2008!
Thank God, and buy another Ford!
Was the driver of the Saturn wearing their belt?
14 hours ago would be 3 or 4 in the morning Midwest time?
Accidents like this will be a thing of the past when Obama has us driving gocart like vehicles and speed limits are 45 MPH.
I’ve got a Ford F-250. Last year I was stopped at a light and a woman in a Dodge Caravan drove into the back of me at about 20 MPH. I got out expecting to see the back of my truck all crumpled up. The only thing that I saw was some paint scraped off the hitch receiver. Her van was a mess. Her hood and bumper went under my truck and she had knocked the radiator loose.
Wow, what a horrible experience. Glad you made it, prayers for the one that didn’t.
