A guest at a McDonald's restaurant in Mora in central Sweden had part of his finger severed when the hatch at the drive-thru counter was closed on him on Sunday evening.
"A drunk man approached the restaurant after closing. He was aggressive and unpleasant," said Petra Whitehead at McDonald's Sweden to The Local on Tuesday.
According to the police report, a 22-year-old man drove in to the restaurant late Sunday evening and a member of McDonald's staff slammed the hatch closed on his hand, severing his dangling digit.
"I don't know the extent of the damage to his hand. But it is a police matter now and they will investigate," Whitehead told The Local.
"The manager of our restaurant called an ambulance," she confirmed.
The 22-year-old, who according to the Aftonbladet daily has successfully been reunited with his finger tip, has reported the restaurant employee for assault causing actual bodily harm.
LOL!
I hope the Wendy’s in that area are looking out for him in case he comes in and orders chili.
They can nickname that restaurant, “The Guillotine.”
has successfully been reunited with his finger tip
LOL, I love the wording.
Not only funny but there is nothing more heartwarming than reunion between a drunken man and his displaced dangling digit.
LOL!
Sometimes I take Free Republic for granted. You guys are just too hilarious, not to mention clever, and have given me something to smile about for the rest of the day, if not well into tomorrow!
The drunk guy better stay away from Benihana’s.
Never forgive, never forget. LOL
Ahhhhh, I always like a happy ending to a love story! /s
Lol! Good one!
He’s doing it wrong, he’s supposed to complain that someone GAVE him the finger when he went throught the drive-through.
Well, I’m convinced that Swedish stimulants are of excellent quality.
Dangling digit.
Dangling Digits would be a most excellent name for a rock band.
I used to work at a McD’s on the graveyard shift near a bar strip.
We didn’t have drive thru windows in those days, but I remember....
Not guilty.
Well, thanks for pointing that out. I’m writing it down and will keep it in the car for reference. This is important information that everyone should know. Did you notify the newspapers? I’m sure Fox News would cover it. ;-D
Are you standing out in the hot sun again?....;-D
