TMZ has learned former teen tennis star Jennifer Capriati was rushed to the hospital early this morning after paramedics responded to a call for a possible overdose.
Sources tell TMZ the call came from a hotel in Riviera Beach, FL. Capriati was transported to a nearby hospital.
TMZ spoke with Jennifer's father who tells us she's recovering well.
Capriati won 14 career titles, including three Grand Slams. She also won a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics.

This is extremely sad to learn about. We were big Jennifer Capriati fans. We’ll be praying for her ...
Prayers offered up.
Riviera Beach is not a place you want to have problems in.
She was the youngest major tennis tournament winner ever, I think. It usually doesn’t turn out well, I’m afraid, for athletes or actors thrust into the limelight so early.
Which did she OD on? Narcotics or tranquilizers?
That’s a man, baby!
Hi Northern Yankee! Who was the other one? Do you remember her name? Really intense high-pressured sport from such a young age.
Monica Seles?
If thats a man,, with a man's sex drive,, please advise her location......... ;-)
I think the other female tennis player tested positive of cocaine is Martina Hingis in 2008. She was banned from tennis for two years. She became #1 at age 18 (I think) and stayed #1 for 209 weeks.
Women making a strenuous physical effort, straining muscles, etc., tend to look rather masculine. She was rather attractive, actually, see Google. She has had drug problems for over a decade.
I prefer Venus Williams :-)

Yes, it is sad. For lurkers who may not remember, she was a youngest-ever major contender, winning an olympic gold medal the following year; She had gotten into trouble when still a teenager, and had seemed to really put her life together, beginning her big “comeback” career move at only 19, rising to number one in the world.
PJ - Jennifer was also caught shopllifting a $35 ring in 1993.
I’m saddened by the news as well. I thought she was past the dark times in her life. I feel a little more empathy and connection towards her since she is slightly younger than myself. I remember her quick rise to fame and thought wow this is cool what if something cool like this happened to me (being a stupid teenager)? I realized it would probably be a bad thing. Shortly thereafter she dropped out of the tennis world and started reappearing in the news again in a not so good way. I was so happy when she got her life back together had a comeback and was successful. I guess she still hasn’t conquered her demons yet.
In this case, I’m sure that it was a Singer Island hotel with a Riviera Beach address. At least I hope so.
