I agree. You were robbed of a win against Slovenia by an extraordinary ref decision: a 3:2 win there would have won you the group all by itself.
The USA group win was fair: it wasn’t luck.
The two played in the 1986 World Cup quarterfinals, Argentina (eventual champs) beat England 2-1.
Urus leading 1-0 after a ridiculous mistake by the Korean defense. Still, the Koreans are putting up a decent fight.
That summer was A BIG BLUR for me. I had just turned 20 years old and was spending the summer at my college campus, with about 10 sorority sisters.
I recall Maradona's "Mano De Dios" hand move in the final against Germany, but that's about it. I also recall that the World Cup event took place in Mexico.
