Van der Sloot a Dead Man, Says Ex-Con
CBS ^ | June 19, 2010 | Staff

Joran van der Sloot is a goner.

So says prison expert and ex-con Larry Levine, founder of Wall Street Prison Consultants.

On "The Early Show on Saturday Morning," Levine said van der Sloot will never last in prison in Peru, where he's being held for the May 30 slaying of 21-year-old business student Stephany Flores in his Lima hotel room.

The Dutchman is also still the chief suspect in the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway.

And, says Levine, he probably doesn't have much time left.

Oddly, as opposed as I am to wishful thinking, after Johnny Cochran’s untimely demise I believe in divine intervention.

The Calpoe brothers are doomed. Doomed.

If his parents had done their job, he probably wouldn't be where he is now.

maybe. Maybe not.

Vanderkiller’s mother is coming to Peru to find an attorney to prove her son’s innocence.

Lots of luck Moma Van der Sloot, you're going to need it.

"Tabloid-style garbage from CBS."

You are quite correct. It IS CBS, which is one step above the National Enquirer.

>>> But I don’t underestimate him. His father is an influential lawyer and capable of finding ways to buy protection for his rat-bastard son.

>>> Let’s see if his father can get him out of this.

If his father can get him out of this, it’s time to start a new religion to worship him. He died a few months ago.

I’m sorry but I think that you have that backwards.

You can trust the National Enquirer, (well at least MORE than you can trust CBS anyhow).

I doubt it, Spain’s control over its colonies following the French takeover was loosened and collapsed within a few years of the Napoleonic Wars

Which was, actually, a direct reslut of the Napoleonic Wars. The colonists of the various colonies quite rightly reasoned that if Spain could not defend herself, then Spain could not defend them either...

I'm just going by the fact that when Joren was being looked at in Natalie Holloway's disappearance, his father did everything he could to keep his son from having to face any consequences for his involvement.

Stuff like that doesn't just happen out of the blue. Parents trying to keep their kids from paying the price for wrongdoing starts early in the kid's life and it's something that continues throughout the kid's life.

I don’t have sympathy for Van der Sloot, IMO he deserves the death penalty.

But hoping for rape or torture or that another person gets murdered (not killed) is not a conservative value.

I define a humane execution as one carried out by the state according to the rule of law.

Because society should not condone (nor aspire to be) a murderous scumbag like Van der Sloot.

I am all for making turnabout fair play. When criminals consider that whatever they do to their victims, they too shall receive as punishment. That alone would reduce violent crimes.

This idea that you can slash somebody with a knife then you should be, no, must be treated with kid gloves, disgusts me. I am one who supports broken bones with an an equal number of broken bones.

Attack my family and I will obliterate you and yours.

“Attack my family and I will obliterate you and yours.”

That’s nice, but all that will happen is you will wind up in jail.... where you may be raped, tortured and murdered. ;)

Maybe Obama will offer him asylum.

He's another criminal, why not?

He keeps out borders open for them.

“I just hope he lives long enough to get married.”

He just might be a bride for quite a few before he moves on. I can’t say, he doesn’t deserve what is on the horizon for him. He showed no mercy, respect or decency for the girls he killed - that we know of.
