Joran van der Sloot is a goner.
So says prison expert and ex-con Larry Levine, founder of Wall Street Prison Consultants.
On "The Early Show on Saturday Morning," Levine said van der Sloot will never last in prison in Peru, where he's being held for the May 30 slaying of 21-year-old business student Stephany Flores in his Lima hotel room.
The Dutchman is also still the chief suspect in the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway.
And, says Levine, he probably doesn't have much time left.

Yes, at the risk of sounding like a bleeding heart liberal, we should live under the rule of law, and prisons should not be places were inmates get to rape and kill each other. In addition, fantasising torture upon another human being degrades the soul of the person doing it. I would say on the other hand however, define executing someone 'humanely'. I don't think condemned should be brutally tortured to death, but putting them down like a sick dog ignores the fact that execution is a punishment as well as a means of removing them from society. Hanging them kills them instantly, but it also gives them a few seconds whilest they're standing on that trapdoor to contemplate on the gravity of their crimes and the punishment they are about to receive...

Vanderkiller’s mother is coming to Peru to find an attorney to prove her son’s innocence.
I doubt it, Spain’s control over its colonies following the French takeover was loosened and collapsed within a few years of the Napoleonic Wars, certainly not enough control or time to instigate a major legal reform throughout the entire Empire, assuming Spain’s reactionary monarchy would have wanted to do such a thing. Many of Spain’s former colonies were influenced by Napoleon’s Code after independence however...
Hope he suffers first
Is it van der SLOOT (think snoop) or van der SLOTE (think slope)? Initially everyone called him van der Sloot, now after he’s been in jail I hear them saying it differently van der slote. Come on what gives?
His father died in February of this year. He dropped dead.
Either way he’s gonna be ‘satisfying’ the other nine before someone sticks him in the temple twelve times with a 4” shive.
He may not die right away.
beautiful.
Justice needs to be served up to Deepak and the other lowlife who assisted this punk in killing the high school girl. And the Aruba judges who let him walk.
Hmmm. I knew there was a connection to Mexico, but wasn't aware that Napoleon was in power long enough for his law changes to affect the whole Spanish Empire.
It probably wasn’t a coincidence the guy in the next cell is a hit man.
If he moves fast enough, I bet we hear about many more young women he's killed throughout the years.
Daddy died of a heart attack on the tennis court back in Feb. Mama holds the purse strings now and she’s not very happy with the bad seed.
