Joran van der Sloot is a goner.
So says prison expert and ex-con Larry Levine, founder of Wall Street Prison Consultants.
On "The Early Show on Saturday Morning," Levine said van der Sloot will never last in prison in Peru, where he's being held for the May 30 slaying of 21-year-old business student Stephany Flores in his Lima hotel room.
The Dutchman is also still the chief suspect in the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway.
And, says Levine, he probably doesn't have much time left.

One can imagine the slime will be given an offer he can’t refuse (by the prisoners): Tell us where the Holloway girl is and you die quick; if you don’t you die slow and painful.
But Peru like Mexico are our moral superior and don’t have a death penlaty?
What body?
Shhe probably got fed to the sharks.
I’m sorry, but I don’t believe that prisoners should be killed or abused in prison.
When he is convicted of murder in Peru, he should serve his sentence or be put to death humanely if that is the verdict.
I think it is sick for anyone to desire rape, torture or a horrifying manner of death for another human being, even if they deserve it.
Not much, if you pay it to his cellmate.
Why would a former SPANISH possession have a "Napoleonic Code" legal system?? (I'm from Louisiana, which "does" have a "Napoleonic Code" system).
I hope he is passed around a few hundred times before they stick him.
He may be, but he's also sort of dead, which might limit what he can do to help.
No, but he hired them.
I wonder how much money it would take to get the real location of the body.
Oh the price of a car battery, a high voltage coil or taser and a bottle of water and a few hours alone with the creep... Might need some restraints to keep him from hopping around like a chicken with its head cut off...less than $100 US. If you want to go the cheap way a dull knife and salt would probably work in a pinch $1 US
If that was my daughter his whole family would be fair game.
Why humanely? He didn’t kill his victims humanely. Why shouldn’t he receive what he gave?
OK , fine.
Oh come on...boys will be boys.
They won't. The father of the murdered girl was 2 times a presidential candidate and is friends with the current Peruvian President. He won't slide by this time. Peru has no death penalty, but in prison there is a system that almost assures he will not live. He may never see trial, but I hope he does.
yep and yep!
You attitude is most commendable. Naive and simplistic, however, so I might caution you to be very careful until reality bites you often and hard enough.
Oh, and don't turn your back on ANYONE, even your wife. In the real world, the only real kindness is a clean kill, and doesn't happen too often.
