Disappearing Postings

Over the many years that I have been a member of FR, I have been assured that no thread is dumped without an explanation given. In the last hour, I have watched sever posted threads disappear without explanation. What the heck ... Mods on a rampage?

alot of times the poster asks the Admin Mod to delete a post or thread for their own reason. I have asked for it to be done, sometimes just because I forgot to write the punchline of a joke and seeing the incorrect post would spoil the correct post, which would make sense and thus the joke would have it’s intended effect.
