I have observed some strange behavior on FR, on and off for years.

It’s nothing new.

I think it’s the malaise of olde finally setting in—I see a general lack of confidence that things will be looking up despite some tough talk from a few; it reminds me of the old pre-60s saying, “don’t let ‘em sh!t on ya, open yer mouth!”

Right. Myself, I fold my 5 1/4 inch floppies so I can reuse them in my 3 1/2 inch drives.

Thanks. That must have been it. I've been around here for a century or so, but never notice that tab thingy. Must have accidentally clicked it. It must be a profile based thing, since it affected all my machines and Blackberry.

LOL! Don’t feel like the lone ranger. I have been here over five years and I just learned about it myself about a month ago.

We were cleaning out some offices where I work and came across some 5 1/4" floppies. One of the ladies looked at them and said "WHAT are these?" I thought she meant what kind of records are they, but no, it was the first time she'd ever seen a 5 1/4" disk.

There are some younger folks now who haven't seen a 3 1/2" floppy. Anyone else feeling old?
