San Francisco is a colorful city. Sometimes it's a little too colorful. While living here, I've seen so many disturbing images that have now permanently burnt themselves into my retinas.
. . .
I surveyed some friends to find out what was the most disgusting thing they've seen while living in San Francisco. Something purely horrific whose image will always stick with them in the same manner as the fall of the Twin Towers or the opening sequence of Saving Private Ryan.

Where else but HERE.
Just a suggestion, try renting a hotel room by the night instead of the hour for the family! lol
Well, aside from your post, there was the time in the mid-80s when my grilfriend and I were in the Columbus neighborhood north of Market. While strolling along on evening, we were greeted with the sight of a bum - sorry - homeless person - who dropped trou, plunked his rear end in a planter and took a big nasty dump. Al lwitha maniacal grin on his face. Yuk.
Lots of people around, too. This was when SF’s policy of toooooooooolerance towards bums was beginning to reach its full flower.
I had the unfortunate luck of witnessing two young men making out at a bay overlook area when I visited SF in 2008. About lost my lunch.
Oh! Oh! Me! Me! Me!
One night walking around the area of the Moscone Center I saw a guy taking dump on the sidewalk.
Needless to say I did not put anything in his begging cup.
I lived there in the 80’s and once saw a naked guy on a leash.
Nancy Pelosi, hands down!
I found this comment on the site:
Have been a resident of SF for more than three decades. Urine, feces, dead bodies, etc. don’t even bug me any more...
That’s the most pathetic thing I’ve seen in a long time. SF is so depraved that longtime residents become inured to depravity.
“What’s the most disgusting thing you’ve seen in San Francisco?”.....
While passing through Frisco on a family vacation to Oregon....two guys skipping down the street holding hands....I laughed my a@# off!
After seeing the photos on the hall of fame link I come to the conclusion that the only appropriate solution is to drop a nuke on that place.
The disgustingly dirty streets and bums. The smell of urine everywhere. The hippie scum. The anti-Semites, the “liberal” America haters. The always predictable, smug, arrogant self-righteous, pro Islamofascist protesters at every excuse to diss America.
How much time do you have to read all of this? I got a million of em.
Winner, winner....chicken dinner!!
The big un is coming. Millions will die
The whifs of urine borne by the wind?
I saw a guy in chaps in SF with a target painted on his butt. Of course it was “Gay Pride Day”.
I’m sure his parents were proud.
I’m glad I no longer live there.
You should’ve dumped in his cup to even the score.
The droves of street people in city hall park and downtown. They are agressive and have runied what used to be some nice places to walk.
Back in ‘76 I loaded my car and headed out of Florida with the intention of seeing ‘America’. Spent 16 weeks on the road just traveling around.
Got to San Francisco and saw JIMMY CARTER give a presidential campaign speech. Most horrible.
It’s gay pride day everyday in Frisco.....
City Council.
