No they won't. If gun confiscation occurs then 95% of gun owners will willingly turn over their guns for “compensation,” even if that's just an agreement to not be prosecuted and spending years in prison. The rest will hide their guns and think they're rebelling by not turning them in, but virtually nobody will strike back offensively.

People are too comfortable in their lives to have another revolution. Besides, the only way a revolution could be fought again is through the use of explosives. Those that do use explosives are derided by even 2nd amendment advocates. Revolution requires offensive strikes, not just hiding a gun in your attic insulation “just in case.”

“No they won’t....”

True, unfortunately, in spite of all the huffing and puffing.

BULL SHIT!

Get with some like minded people who are more worried about losing their freedoms and saving this country than about being politically correct.

THEY WILL HAVE TO KILL ME.

A significant percentage would turn over their guns, but nowhere near 95% IMHO.

Their is more than one way to skin a cat besides sticking its head in a bootjack & yanking on the tail . Think about resistance movements of the past & what kind of hell on earth that technically savvy americans impose on politicians & especially the propaganda apparatchicks of the state run media.

We need a network to get the word out quickly if confiscation starts, and they'll be shutting down the 'net. You will have to be willing to meet and discuss Oath Keepers with your local police. You have to be willing to off your neighbor in law enforcement if he obeys illegal orders (what don't they understand about "shall not be infringed?), and probably die, or live on your knees.

What would I do? I don't know, and won't until it happens. I pray to never find out.

I hate to break it to you but explosives can be made, and are in fact rather common. If you mean nuclear explosives, I’m not sure why we would need them but if we did, they could be captured.

In any-case an American revolution would require taking control of the State Government’s and using them to wage war. Without them there is no war or victory.

We must secure control of as many state governments as possible that is priority #1 no matter what we do, revolution or not we will need them more then anything else.

read "Unintended Consequences" i think Ross has a good grasp on what it would take for a successful revolution. No explosives, no clear battle lines. Just walk in, quietly take out a politician or federal agent, walk away. Guns not needed in many cases.
However if it came down to it, do you really think every member of the armed forces is is going to follow the President's lead on this? Many would walk, and take their equipment with them.

95% of gun owners will not turn in their guns for any reason. When confiscation starts it is not the time to hide weapons but the time to use them. Explosives are not the only way that a revolution could be fought and I don't know why you would suggest that it is.

You’re right. We saw it happen in New Orleans during Katrina. When the cops and the military came and illegally took their guns people just hung their heads and handed them over.
