The NCAA just blew up USC football's world by forcing the Trojans to forfeit their victory in the '05 Orange Bowl ... a win that earned them the National Championship.
This all comes after an NCAA investigation concluded Reggie Bush got improper benefits while at USC.
According to the NCAA findings Bush received a car, and his family received a house and other financial benefits.

In that case Tech and Baylor probably go to the WAC or C-USA.
Or Mountain West.
Sort of surprised because everything I read the three Texas schools have to go together.
Auburn?? Roll Tide!!
The SEC needs another team to go along with OU, I think A&M wants to go to the SEC as well.
I think A&M would benefit as the only Texas school in the mighty SEC, that would give them a selling point over the Longhorns.
WAR EAGLE! THIS MEANS OUR UNDEFEATED 13 - 0 SEASON SHOULD NOW OFFICIALLY MEAN WE’RE NATIONAL CHAMPS.
Auburn went 13 - 0 in the 2004 season. WE should be officially recognized as National Champs.
War Eagle!
Add A&M and OU to the SEC West...add FSU and Miami to SEC East
War Eagle!
TAMU and Va Tech to the SEC per ESPN radio
I’ve heard that rumor, too.
This is so exciting!
This is almost like National Signing Day, isn’t it?
Big picture: what precipitated all of this? it’s some combination of money/power, but what specifically led to these shifts? Very fascinating.

Simple answer TV money. Big Ten hit the motherlode with the Big 10 network and these other school want their own piece of the pie.
Conferences saw the money the SEC was getting from their CBS and ESPN deals.
That’s because the SEC is the best.
Not a chance. After the way you guys got whuped like a red-headed step child?
It's Auburn, of course. I already had my own license plate made declaring Auburn "Best in the Nation" that year.
Why not? It's all a matter of opinion, anyway.
