"Some UFOs are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft, and this is the biggest story of the millennium."
These words are not the rantings of a deranged individual looking for attention or a comfortable straitjacket. Stanton Friedman is a maverick of sorts.
Employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist for companies like General Electric, General Motors, Westinghouse and Aerojet General Nucleonics, he worked on highly classified programs involving nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets.
In 1958, UFOs caught his attention, and Friedman has since lectured about this subject at more than 700 colleges and professional groups in all 50 states and around the world.
Nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman has devoted more than 50 years to pursuing the scientific truth of UFOs, and was the original civilian investigator of the legendary 1947 Roswell, N.M., incident. "After 53 years of investigation, I'm convinced we're dealing here with a cosmic Watergate," he told AOL News. "That means a few people within major governments have known since at least 1947 that some UFOs are alien spacecraft."
In Friedman's new book, "Science Was Wrong," co-authored with Kathleen Marden, he wrote, "There's been no shortage of strong, negative proclamations from debunking groups and individuals who refuse to examine the evidence ... to support the notion that some UFOs are of extraterrestrial origin."
Friedman cites many cases of UFO encounters experienced by competent, reliable eyewitnesses, including one involving Japan Airlines.

The Saturn-shaped object was witnessed by the ship's crew and several scientists. The UFO approached the island, making a steep turn before flying away quickly. Juscelino Kubitschek, then president of Brazil, confirmed the authenticity of the photos. "A 747 over Alaska encountered something that was twice the size of an aircraft carrier, that flew circles around the jet. They reported it to the ground, where both the UFO and the 747 were picked up on radar.
"The explanation from debunkers was that it was Jupiter! Boy, airplane radar can pick up Jupiter? It was totally ludicrous. You're fighting the forces of 'evil,' one might say -- arrogance and ignorance."
While some scientists through the years have quietly suggested Earth has been visited by ETs, Friedman is the most outspoken. He's especially irked by the attitude of scientists who use radio and optical telescopes in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, such as the SETI Institute in California.
"Their livelihood depends on the assumption that there's nobody coming here, and if we just wait long enough, we're going to pick up the signal and it'll be the greatest discovery in man's history, and it will help solve all our problems.
"What really bothers me is that the SETI people will tell you there is no evidence for UFOs. Well, they certainly don't reference any, so there must not be, right? Wrong!"
If so, why would reputable scientists refuse to consider that Earth may be a vacation spot for otherworldly travelers?
"Because they'd have to admit that they'd ignored such a big story for so long and that they were wrong," Friedman said. "Being wrong is something that scientists don't like to admit at all........."

There’s more to that book than what most people realize.

That planet had already developed some of the beginnings of life and the collision with the Earth/Moon mass "seeded" earth with some of its life forms.
In a nutshell Anu sent his son Enki to Earth to oversee the mining of gold. Later (about 3600 years later) as Niburu again approached Earth, Anu brings his first born son Enlil to Earth to oversee all operations.
Shortly thereafter the Annunaki working in the mines mutinied with the backing of Enki. After some deliberations with the Council of 12 gods (sound familiar?), it is decided that Enki can get help with mining by genetically manipulating an already emerging "ape man". What they make are the "black hairs" or Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
So, they basically turn their newest creation into slaves without the ability to procreate. Only the Annunaki "Mothers" (12 vessels) are able to make the humans. Later a god shares the knowledge of procreation with the humans and their number grow.
Further condensing the story the Annunaki (Neflim) begin to procreate with the daughters of Earth. In this era there is also a fairly significant Ice Age going on. This causes a global drought and suffering among people. During this time snow and ice are piling up on a massive scale in Antarctica. Under this cap is tremendous pressure that causes the lower levels to melt into a slush.
The gods are not happy with the humans nor with the Annunaki that take them as wives. They believe the humans are a lost cause, except for Enki. The Annunaki know that the home planet Niburu is approaching Earth again and that the gravitational pull will dislodge that ice cap from Antarctica, but are told not to tell the humans of the calamity about to befall the Earth. Enki manages to tell one righteous man (Noah) of the coming flood.
The ice cap slips off the continent into the ocean and the entire Earth is flooded and the only survivors are Noah and his crew. At first Enlil, et al are angry at Enki for saving mankind, but quickly change their minds as soon as Noah starts cooking some meat and making offerings.
Again briefly, there was a spaceport on Earth that was wiped out by the flood. The remaining Annunaki were unable to get back to Niburu, but did escape the flood in their "local" spacecraft. After they started to get hungry (running low on reserves) they returned to Earth.
Later they built the three main Giza Pyramids (way before there were any Pharaohs) to act as landing markers and control centers for their new spaceport in the Sinai. During a war between the gods the Pyramids were stripped of their instrumentation by Marduk/Ra (son on Enlil).
Some time later there was another war between the gods but this time with nukes. The new Sinai spaceport was destroyed along with Sodom and Gomorrah (among other cities in the area - 6 total). The story of Abraham in the Bible gives a brief but factually accurate account. An unintended effect of the nuke blasts were the destruction of the cities of Sumer (Babylon) by a radiation cloud.
This is a very brief version of the tale spun by Zecharia Sitchin in the first three of his books. I'm not totally accurate I'm sure, but you'll get the gist here. Oh, and one other thing: the time-line for the above is about 400K years.

In a dramatic development, The State of Israel has found time in between dealing with military and political issues relating to the region to declassify and make public its previously top-secret UFO files.
It is unknown why Israel’s leaders have chosen to divulge some of what they know on the UFO issue but at least one clip has made it to the Internet. The footage below of a UFO in the night sky is believed to be the oldest piece of UFO footage that the Jewish state has in it’s possession and dates back to 1970.
Israeli UFO disclosure has been widely reported in Russia and China but not in the English speaking world, possibly due to the political influence of Evangelical Christians who might disapprove of such a development.
It is believed that Israel’s secret service, has had limited interaction with aliens via secret US government agencies. Historically however, Israel’s connection to aliens goes all the way back to the Old Testament, a book clearly full of UFO and alien input.
The Prophet Ezekiel was visited by an alien spaceship by the river of Chebar while in exile. Andromedan aliens have confirmed in modern times that these ‘ancient astronauts’ were indeed theirs and are still alive. Video footage of the event is believed to exist and has been seen by a select few earthlings.
Is such a dramatic development in the land of the Bible, Holy to three major faiths, part of an grand alien plan to reveal themselves to mankind: Thus spelling the end of Judeo-Christian faith as we know it?”

It’s tough to teach someone who misrepresents and obfuscates. For instance, if you would have read my first post to you, I clearly stated that the debate wasn’t whether aliens existed, but whether they have visited earth. I also stated merely that Hawking was sympathetic to that possibility, which he is. I stand by that, of course. Many members of the National Academies are sympathetic to that possibility.
It’s tough to teach someone like that, but it’s impossible to reason with a douchebag who throws out unnecessary and unprovoked insults. So congratulations, you have made a very short list of douchebags on FR that I will never post to again.
