Good Night Sweet Puppy (Cute Video of Pup Falling Asleep in Water Bowl)

There aren't too many things that can brighten up a persons disposition better then seeing puppies frolicking about as they explore their surroundings. It usually doesn't take long for them to wear themselves out either. That's why one moment they can be chewing on each others ears, and the next moment be falling asleep as if they were a mechanical toy who's batteries have just died. It's also comical they way they will fall asleep in the middle of what ever it is they are doing, as if they suffer from some form of animal narcolepsy.

Well with that in mind, I offer you this short video that I put some appropriate music to of a puppy who just did not seem to have enough energy to push himself away from his water bowl. So that is where he took a nap.

I meant to post this last night, but FR was down, so I'll post it now instead.
So start your Monday off on a good feeling and

Cute, but dangerous for the pup.

Instead of taping the poor thing, I would have gotten it out of the water so it didn’t drown. It’s only waking up because it can’t breathe...

So, let me get this straight. A puppy’s forepaws get stuck in a high bowl, he waterboards himself numerous times, and you stand there with a camera thinking about the “cute” video you will entertain the world with, as his nose is immersed under water instead of picking him up and placing him in comfort.
How cute. I’m so glad we have the distress of animals to entertain us.

Well put. Everybody wants to grap a camera and record the distress. You should be Saving the puppy what Ails you?

This whole video clip is a total of 1:39 long. Within 10 seconds of finishing the video, the puppy was picked up.

The puppy is healthy and fine. The people who own it are caring, loving, and very respectful of animals.

It was funny, and because of that I do not apologize for sharing it.

However, I do apologize for anyone who suffered any lasting trauma due to watching a puppy falling asleep while his loving and caring human owners videoed the incident before picking him up.

If I ruined anyone’s day by sharing this video I also apologize, but then again maybe you need to lighten up a little and not be so offended by such an innocent and funny video clip as this.

I’m not offended, I don’t need to lighten up, I’m not looking for an apology, and I’m certainly not traumatized.

My cat had a litter of kittens once and they would fall asleep on their feet and just keel over. - lol

4 freeper votes that the puppy is in distress to 1 freeper vote that the video is cute. You lose.

I’m here to support you, OneVike. I think it’s cute also. It’s not like the puppy is in danger of drowning. It keeps waking up as its nose touches the water. Even a puppy has a sense of self-preservation and I’m sure the owner moved the puppy as soon as the video ended. Some people must be having a bad day that even a cute, sleepy puppy can’t fix.

It’s difficult to tell with 100% certainty what’s happening from the angle of the photo, but I never see the nostrils submerge and the puppy seems to express more annoyance than fright at his repeated soggy jaws. The pup looks more than capable of escaping; this is not like the way babies can drown in a high, deep bucket that physically traps them. I cast my vote with the “cutist” minority.

BTW: the lullaby words don’t make much sense unless this was filmed at night by moonlight.
