Here is a video report on a manhunt underway in Chile as authorities search for Dutchman Joran Van der Sloot, now wanted in the killing of a young woman found dead in a hotel in Lima, Peru. Van der Sloot was the last person seen with the woman on a security tape.
Van der Sloot is the young man accused in the disappearance and presumed death of Natalee Holloway five years ago in Aruba. He was arrested and released several times in her disappearance. But no trace of Holloway was ever found, and Van der Sloot was released.

I didn’t read at the link, but yesterday...last evenings news was a report that Van der whozzit was found dead.
Maybe I should have read on for the surprise ending.
watched a few minutes on fox this morning about this....other than that i saw nothing being carried on other news web sites at all....hopefully they will find him and he will pay this time....
fox reported this morning that he took a bus to chili and that interpol had issued a warrant for him....i have heard nothing about him being found dead....

Hmmmmmmm interesting. I read he was found dead, and that it was a suicide. This was reported....I’ll see if I can find it, and post a link if I do.
The proper pronunciation of his name is “Urine”....seems fitting.

please do as fox said nothing of it this morning and i checked cnn and a couple other websites this morning for news and it wasn’t even covered....
So far I’ve not been able to find it, but then I keep getting side tracked. I’ll keep looking as I can.
I’ve looked enough me thinks. What might have happened was a report was filed that was bogus and the article was removed, because I cannot find it going back through the pages here at FR, nor do I find it on a Google search.
I know I read the article that he was found dead, and that the police pronounced it a suicide, but now that I can’t find the article at all anywhere I have to believe it was found a bogus report, and removed.
IIRC it was sometime between eight, and nine o’clock last night PDT.
I think there was a report/rumor that he had been found dead, but at least at this point, that has not turned out to be accurate. As of a couple of hours ago, the AP was still reporting that they are searching for him in Chile.

Involved in 2 suspicious deaths in 5 years. I’ve gone over 50 years without being involved in any.
There was a story posted hours ago that he was dead. The poster asked for it to be deleted. Apparently it was a false report.
