I do not know what Greta was planning for her so-called "special" hour show about JVDS; but the show was a REPEAT of her interview with him in Thailand where he claimed to have sold Natalee to an utter stranger whose name he didn't know and blah/blah/blah.

I am embarressingly ignorant about South American history, so know extremely little about Peru, except that the Shining Path guerillas are frequently in the news for terrorist acts and because of massive earthquakes, and a little about the terrible poverty in all the major cities -- where, for instance they frequently run 2 shifts of school children, not having enough elementary school buildings for all the students.

However, I have come across lots of online comments that Peru is N-O-T a third world country, and that in fact, it is quite modern and WESTERN.

This is simple comments I've read, here & there, on various boards about SF, NH, and JVDS.

The family of Stephany already considers her to be Natalee's ANGEL, as it were, who gave up her own life, martyred herself, they say, so that the "pure girl" in Aruba, Natalee, could find justice.

I suspect that plenty of Peruvians, having taken a good look now at punk Joran, agree emphatically with the father ---- and that the ENTIRE COUNTRY is extremely unspeakably angry with Aruba for their obvious coverup of this psychopath.

Things might get very very very interesting -- particularly if Joran spills all the beans on what I believe were mafia contacts his father had in with both the drug trade and the sex trade -- from Amsterdam, thru Aruba and into South America.

I mean ... the dad DID give Joran a 50 thousand dollar line of credit at the local casino.

WHY would a dad do that with his 16 year old son????

I hope we find out all the morbid details soon. And I really pray that we finally locate Natalee.

I suspect that the Peruvian investigators and interrogators are VERY professional, and they will NOT accept the drivel & lies that were standard in Aruba.

I believe this is a whole different ball game, and one wild card is that all of Peru is FURIOUS with Aruba.

We may learn that Joran is not necessary ALWAYS a psychopathic liar and teller of tall tales.

ALSO, it's possible that any of the Aruban kids connected in any manner to the disappearance of NH will now utterly dissemble and tell-ALL, because they must realize that Joran is NOT going to be treated with Aruban kid gloves any more.

In my conspiratorial paranoia, I seriously wonder IF Gretched was going to have a big hour long NEW expose about "Joran and His Pals," but for some reason, unknown to us at this time, had to NOT broadcast it, because it might possibly interfere with his conviction in Peru.

AND .... just think!!! Surely every single person in Peru is now watching that interview, with Spanish subtitles --- this MUST have happened; either on the Internet or else a TV station down there got it from FOX.

You asked in another thread where Joran was being held; this article says that he spent the night in the headquarters of the Peruvian Criminal Police, after being interrogated on Saturday.

Perhaps the reason that Eric Holder and Obama's Justice Department are not currently being held accountable for not having issued an extradition request BEFORE JVDS murdered Stephany is that it's possible that there are strong mob connections between Chicago & Aruba --- POSSIBLE.

I don't know all the details, but there are posts on the last 2 pages of this ongoing discussion thread which provide some links to potential Chicago/Aruba underworld connections.

MAYBE this is why the press is silent? MAYBE this is why the atrocious talking heads on TV keep bashing the local FBI in Birmingham???

Have you heard of anybody other than Nancy Grace report that Stepany lost her eye???

When I saw Nancy Grace, I heard her say that Stephany's brother had told her that the beating was so severe that his sister had lost one of her eyeballs.

But when he came on screen, she asked him to tell the audience about it, but he said he didn't want talk about what Stephany looked like.

Freeper enquiring mind says that they heard the brother.

IF Stephany actually lost an eyeball, WHY is only Nancy Grace reporting this??

On the page linked to below I notice that SM is reporting that Dave Holloway will be on the radio tonight, along with an eyewitness from Aruba who saw JVDS covered in mud and missing a shoe on the night of NH's disappearance.

I wonder if there are any online links to listen to this radio show??

"I am in touch with a former friend of Joran in the Netherlands, who was corresponding with Van Der Sloot right after he murdered Stephanie in Peru. Japp (the friend) reached out to me to tell me had video tape of Joran (he filmed him for a documentary), and a map Joran drew of where he claims he put Natalee's body.

Because Jaap was corresponding with Joran, the authorities were monitoring his emails, and once he emailed me with the info about the tapes, they  raided his house took  all his tapes, phone and computer, etc.

BUT  I did get a copy of the map. I have given it to Tim Miller from Texas EquuSearch.  He is now in Aruba with me, and is planning on searching the area all week.  Stay tuned.  I will be updating live from Aruba all week.

I agree with your assessment, Hennie Pennie. And I also know that sometimes a chronic liar does insert statements of truth in their answers when they are questioned.

I can certainly understand the citizens of Peru being furious with Aruba. Anyone who seeks truth and justice is also furious with Aruba!
