2 Corinthians 3:18
“ 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, care being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as 2by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Thank you, for today's devotional. When first learning to ride a bicycle all wobbly and shaky, it became apparent to me quickly, that if there was a rock in the path and it was something I wanted to miss, the thing to do was not focus on the rock ... guess what, I hit the rock.
An important lesson, what we focus on is what we create, have, keep in our life. One of the scriptures that is a hard to grasp in a way is ... is The heart is deceptive to the very end.
__________________________________________________________
Jeremiah 17:9 (King James Version)
“9.The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
and
King James Bible
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
excerpt from Bible Browser
Proverbs 4:23
“Or above all keepings; we must keep our hearts with more care and diligence than we keep any thing else. We must keep our eyes (Job 31:1), keep our tongues (Ps. 34:13), keep our feet (Eccl. 5:1), but, above all, keep our hearts.
A good reason given for this care, because out of it are the issues of life. Out of a heart well kept will flow living issues, good products, to the glory of God and the edification of others. Or, in general, all the actions of the life flow from the heart, and therefore keeping that is making the tree good and healing the springs. Our lives will be regular or irregular, comfortable or uncomfortable, according as our hearts are kept or neglected.
We must set a watch before the door of our lips, that we offend not with out tongue (v. 24): Put away from thee a froward mouth and perverse lips ...”

Good morning, Rus.
Thank you for sharing the ODB lesson.
WOW ... you have a very long primary season.
The good news ... You will not have to wait months before you win the National. :)
Best of luck .... rest whenever you get the chance.
Have a lovely Thursday.

Good morning, Jaycee.
Cute good morning graphic. Thank you.
I have a video of Marissa in the talent show, but
I could not get it downloaded to my computer last night.
When Jr comes this weekend, he can show me how to download it.
I will try to post it next week.
She must have chickened out ....
she told me she was singing a solo but one of her friends sang with her.
Wishing you a restful, pain-free Thursday.

LTOS'S Laptop Passed Away Today, RIP
Oh Laptop!
Faithful Friend,
I thought you'd be with me to the end
But You were a 3rd Generation Hand-me-down,
And I tweaked and Squeaked you
And turned you around,
You became the computer that I loved MOST
But two years later,
You Gave Up The Ghost,
I've tried every trick,
The whole length and Breadth,
But All I get,
Is The BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH
RIP

Thank You, Amy. They are predicting 105 -107 degrees for the next few days here in West Texas.
Woodpeckers are rare or absent here. I like the painting.
God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.

I love today's Opener ... another oldie but goodie. :)
Hope you are able to spend more time at AP this month.
I don't know how busy it will be this summer, but the pace should slow down.
Next Thursday is the last day of school.
I don't know who is happier ..... me or Marissa. LOL
Wishing you a Delightful Thursday.

Happy Thursday, LTOS.
That kitten is so cute. Reminds me of my son's cat.
When I get on the computer when Cissy is here, she gets in the middle of my desk.
Acts like she is checking my posts.
I love your poem. Thank you for sharing it.
Wishing you a Fantastic day.

I’ve missed breakfast, but if you take orders for lunch, I’ll have hot pastrami on grilled rye bread, with mustard, muenster cheese, and sweet pickle relish. No onions, no other veges. Fresh fruit salad on the side. :)

I have just run across your post on Tuesday where you said you were “feeling puny today”, and hope now your body has had some rest and you’re feeling much better.
