Strike Three! [NYP headline]
WSJ ^ | 053010 | Peggy Noonan

The spill is a disaster for the president and his political philosophy.

I don't see how the president's position and popularity can survive the oil spill. This is his third political disaster in his first 18 months in office. And they were all, as they say, unforced errors, meaning they were shaped by the president's political judgment and instincts.

I’d say Hassan, the panty bomber and Faisal....should have ended his “reign”.

In a sane America, his reign would have never been.

More appropriately his lack of executive experience and leadership instincts. His political judgement was single faceted...blame the previous administration. The American people expect more, even from Obama. So I ask...how's that Hopey-Changey thing working for you now Peggy?

I see Noonan is still out of touch. He's a Rat - they are exempt from moral judgment.

The president, in my view, continues to govern in a way that suggests he is chronically detached from the central and immediate concerns of his countrymen.

You have to be a darn good actor to totally fake your personality. Obama can't fake it.

“But Republicans should beware, and even mute their mischief. We're in the middle of an actual disaster. When they win back the presidency, they'll probably get the big California earthquake. And they'll probably blow it. Because, ironically enough, of a hard core of truth within their own philosophy: When you ask a government far away in Washington to handle everything, it will handle nothing well.”

The Fed can handle an earthquake in La La Land because they have before and they will again. peggy is all about moderation, rino-ism, milquetoast, spineless and effete... blue is her blood... so she thinks.

Duh?

How long as she been like this? The person who needs to have the punch line explained and still doesn't “get it” until the following day? She doesn't seem to grasp that it's her and Beltway mainstream journalists like her in the press that are keeping the Obama administration from ritual suicide. Strike 3? An inpartial umpire with eyes to see wouldn't have voted for Barack Hussein in the first place.

Really Peggy? I see how, he will be popular with people that don't give a damn about the oil spill or the damage and suffering along the Gulf coast. His popularity will be among the entitlement-minded, victimhood pimping, anti-semite crowd that got him elected. Just because a few Washington elitists have become disillusioned doesn't mean his Presidency is over.

You might think just once she's say: Dang, I'm sorry for being so stupid for supporting him, I was dead wrong.

But no, she just criticizes him as if she never fell for his obvious lies about being a moderate.

Brooks as well, they just went brain dead.
