I agree totally. A month or so ago an article from one of the leading anti-Obama blogs was posted here but because the writer was gay, most of the comments were the vilest and crudest personal attacks on him. The content and value of the anti-Obama article was ignored.
The author learned of this and opened an account here to defend himself and discuss the points we have in common. Again after a series of personal attacks on him, the account was banned. Joyful posts applauded this, seemingly disappointed only they couldn’t have stoned him first.
There was a line in the first Airplane movie: “Chump don’t want no help, chump don’t get no help”. Although why some seem to think that being conservative requires them to be vile low-lifes and chumps is beyond me.

You engage in this sort of rhetoric and expect us to be civil? Yeah, because we’re a bunch of haters who want to stone people!?! We oppose the gay agenda. We don’t want homosexuality normalized in our schools and institutions. For doing that we’re haters who want to murder people by stoning them?
