I had to go to my town hall today to pick up a new dump sticker, and I overheard two town functionaries discussing the new rule concerning voter registration.
This may be common knowledge, and if it is, I apologize for my ignorance. If it isn't commonly known, it should be.
What I overheard is that among the penalties for those who are engaging in the peaceful protest of not filling out their Census forms, or incompletely filling them out, is that the individuals will be removed from the voter registration roles in their towns, and not be informed of thisunless the inquire directly, or until they go in to vote and are denied a ballot.
Given that most of the people employing this civil form of protest are anti-Obama, independents, Libertarians and/or Republicans, if this is happening, and goes largely unnoticed, the results in November could be catastrophic. All the good little O-bots will have their votes counted, and all the independents, Libertarians and Republicans who refused to completely fill out their Census forms will be unable to cast their votes.
Given how widespread this peaceful protest seems to be, it could give the Dems a victory in every race across the country. A clean sweep.
Call your local election boards and find out if this is pandemic, or if I misheard what was beeing discussed in hushed undertones. I live in Massachusetts, and the O-bots I'm surrounded by are completely capable of keeping this under wraps from the general public.
Forewarned is forarmed.

Read some of the nonsense he has written.
It sounds remarkably similar to what uninformed liberals like to imagine conservatives must think.
No, it’s not.
LOL!
It’s a conspiracy, I tell ya!
I have the decency to let them know they are part of the discussion.
I’ve come to believe that these people are being paid to post this stuff. He signed up January 1, 2010—new job for a new year. This exact same thing went on building up to the Obama election. They posted glowing comments on Youtube, on websites all over the place, and drip by drip, it made a difference, a huge difference. It’s called brainwashing.
I find many posts here by people that seem to be idiots, but harmless, like this guy. One “you’re going to hell if you don’t believe in Jesus” comment here, another “homosexuals are evil” there, pretty soon it adds up and makes conservatives on this site look bad.
I’d really like to know who’s paying them.
I am.
If you’re paying taxes, you’re probably right.
Give us an assessment on where you stand right now. Is it school or world or just posting on FR? You deserve a right to talk to the world. We understand.
And that’s just the first few posts. There are many many more. By the way, thanks for cutting and pasting them here, they’re priceless.
That’s why I think people like this are being paid to post this stuff all over the web. No one who appears to be this stupid would be on this site. A conspiracy? I really think not. I think it’s a job.
What a maroon!
It’s so stupid it is dust in the wind. It doesn’t even qualify for a zot. I would let it ride. The dumbing down of America doesn’t apply here.
This is just some BS you inadvertently picked up. Not a condemnation of you certainly. If I didn’t fill it out, how would they know where I lived? Such a scheme just wouldn’t work out. People move around.
We have voter registration to register voters. The Census is for other purposes. Just don’t believe everything your hear.
Our Secretary of State spoke at a meeting I attended last evening, if this were true he would have said something about it.
If you don’t mind, you should take a little time to e-blast this to all the conservative web sites (Michelle Malkin, Big Government, PJmedia, etc. as a news tip. We need this investigated and advertised and opposed. If you feel comfortable enough with the information, notify Steele and the senate and house leaders and your representatives. Also tell Michelle Bauchmann, please.
I would appreciate you doing that since you heard the conservation.
You hit that nail on the head. Nowhere on the form is it required that the respondent be a citizen, nor is the question of citizenship posed on the form. Any enumeration based solely on residency, (be it legal or otherwise), will skew the population figures and result in some districts having representation in Congress disproportionate to the number of citizens living in them, and the same will happen with population based federal funding.
I know in my MA town that we get ‘town census’ forms (don’t quote me- I think ‘Yearly’-’Every other year?). There is a line on them that if you don’t fill them out you will get dropped in voter registration.
This is the form that asks about your pets (so they can get the pet-tag-tax) and other ‘town important’ questions.
From what I heard, alot of people filled out only the number of individuals in the domicile and elected not to answer the rest of the questions, apparently considering them an intrusive overreach of the statute. These are the ones being suspended from voter roles.
I truly hope I'm wrong, but if I'm not, this is among the most important threads FR will host this year. If you are one of the folks who sent in an incompletely filled-out Census form, but who intends to vote this November, a quick call to your town hall to check on your voter registration status doesn't seem like an undue burden.
Also, if this is going on, laws are being broken. Should we just not even mention it when we hear or see evidence of something like this? I thought that was one of the best reasons for even having a place like FreeRepublic.

I agree completely.
My conspiracy crack was tongue in cheek at only directed towards the census happening during dem administrations.

Sure, sounds like a plan to me!
The founders had the right idea.
