I am suprised not seeing Rusty Humphries on the list.
George Noory? Puh-leeeease!!
Talkers magazine is leftist.
Howie Carr is all over New England and the best in the region by far. Guess he didn’t make the list since he is regional instead of national, but I’d be willing to be he has more listeners in New England than Ed Shultz has nationwide.
My favorite by far is Rush Limbaugh. He’s smart, informed, influential, fired up, and very, very funny. He is as much a part of my life as the people I actually live with.
I wake up to Bill Handel, with whom I of course do not always agree, but sometimes the people on that show do have me laughing myself awake.
In the afternoon it’s John and Ken for me — #30 on the list — because they really do a good service exposing the crooks in public office. They hate both parties but seem a little more on the right, and they get things done. They’ve definitely played a huge part in fighting the fight against the crooks in CA. And they are funny and entertaining.
I TRY to listen to Mark Levin because he is brilliant and I love everything he writes, but I sadly just can’t take him on the radio for long. He’s too abrasive. It’s a shame because I probably agree with everything he says.
I enjoy Dennis Prager but I prefer Rush in that time slot. I adore Rush’s sense of humor. Dennis doesn’t have one.
Has everyone in L.A. heard the evening guy at KFI (AM 640) yet? I love Tim Conway Jr.’s sarcastic voice, and he apparently grew up in my neck of the woods so I get all his references. You simply must tune in on Thursday nights betwen 8 and 9 pm when he plays the game “What The Hell Did Jesse Jackson Say?” It is to die for hilarious, as well as being a difficult game: he plays a clip of the REVrund J, and deciphering him is nigh impossible. Funny!
Rusty is #38 (huh?). At least he’s ahead of that foul-mouthed, barking moonbat, Randi Rhodes (#41).
I like Rusty.
I enjoy listening to Dennis Miller because he’s not quite as political as some other hosts.
I love Rush. He’ll always be my hero.
I also like to listen to The Dennis Miller Show for the comic relief he provides during this difficult time in our country.
I stay up to hear Levin on WLS until midnight.
Locally we get Mark Belling in the afternoons. He subs for Rush sometimes. He’s great. Listened to him 15 years now, almost as long as I’ve been enrolled in the EIB Advanced Conservative Studies program.
: )
My joke: Rush in the morning and Savage at night.
1. Rush
2. Levin & Savage (hate each other but I like what each says for separate reasons)
3. Hannity
4. Brian Sussman here in SF, expert on climate
5. George Noory (Kook to Kook - I’m a bit of a tinfoil hatter sometimes)
6. Laura Ingraham
7. Neil Bootz
8. Glenn Beck (love his TV show)
savage hates everyone, but does Levin hate savage?
I’ve heard Levin call him Michael Weiner of the Weiner Nation, but that is his real name after all. I like Savage, sometimes, but Levin and Rush are fantastic.
Dennis Prager. Reasonable, knowledgeable, polite and persuasive. PhD in Psychology, I believe.
He is on the list at #40.
WE’RE #51! WE’RE #51!
Rush, then Mark Belling (not on the list) who comes on right after Rush here in Milwaukee.
Jerry Doyle? Mr. Garibaldi??? Where is his show broadcast? Is he any good?
Dennis Prager does not have advanced degrees, unless they are honorary. He has a B.A. Although I’m not an admirer of his, he illustrates the lack of correlation between knowledge and ability, on the one hand, and academic credentialing, on the other ... and this is a good thing.
I read Jerry Doyle’s book, and it was terrific. I assume his show is good as well.
Correction, I *admire* Dennis Prager, a lot, for his accomplishments. I do not *like* him as he comes across in his writing.
He wrote a book??? Man, where have I been?!? Could you give me the title? I’ll have to check it out.
There had to be a reason I liked B5 so much, in spite of the ham-handed scripts and the marginal acting. The story was compelling and I was aware of Bruce Boxleitner’s political leanings. Now this with Jerry Doyle. Puts a whole new perspective on that show.
