So, I'm coming home from work -- I bike home from work --and I stumble across an accident. It is the single weirdest thing I have ever seen. A car managed to climb up the guide wires of a telephone pole.
It was next to a TitleMax, so I assumed at first glance that it was some sort of promotional advertisement. I rode my bike right behind it, without realizing the danger of the situation. When the cop saw me, he waved me off.
Now, what I'm thinking is: WTF, and apparantly the cop is too. HOW do you MANAGE this one???? HOW do you explain THIS to GEICO????
Some one was hitting it :-0
Apparently a graduate of the Bo & Luke Duke School of Driving.
“Heheh...I ripped the driver’s side door off my minivan, took out a concrete mailbox and crashed the car backwards into a brick wall in an accident once.”
.
Long time ago, a friend (sort of dorky) had recently gotten a new ‘67 GTO convertable as a graduation present. He drove over to show off the car to a girl he had been chasing after for a few years, unsuccessfully, and parked it in her parking stall. Then he yelled at her apartment, above the stall, to come down and have a look.
She came down, looked at the car and started laughing really hard. He got really shook-up, and jumped into the car and backed out of the parking stall at full throttle, and tried to spin a turn like Starsky or something, but lost control and freaked out. He froze with his foot on the throttle, spinning a donut in the middle of the road and bounced off of several cars that were parked on the side of the road and then went full force back into the parking stall, through the wall, and into the swimming pool without ever taking his foot off the gas.
He never got the girl, as you might imagine!

Only on Buford hwy.
Remember a coupla years ago when the kid was leaning out the passenger side of the truck pukin and got decapitated by the power pole guide wires?
Close...near Atlanta...Doraville I think. Buford hwy is the “international” section of Atlanta.
Man, that's cold. Funny but cold nonetheless.
wannabe
I know that street. It’s 2.7 miles from my Dad’s house.
Looks like the STOP sign did its job—even facing in the other direction.
I parked (ok, lost control and skidded wildly, eventually stopping) across a 3-foot ditch. Nicely positioned with rear wheels on one side and front wheels on the other. Cop happened by and just shook his head and left.
"A caveman and a gekko were crossing the road...."
F&^#@ng Volvo drivers.
Very skillful indeed; if I tried that, I would have peeled the trim strip right off the fender & door.
I saw a brand new Corvette perfectly balanced on a guard rail on I-95 a couple of summers ago.
It was right in the middle of a split in the highway.
the guy obviously could not make up his mind, Left or right?? in time.
The way it was sitting there on the railing was a one in a million shot.
Don’t worry my dad is a tv repairman.
He’s got the ultimate set of tools.
I can fix it.....
Actually the car looks like it’s not really that damaged.
If it was me i woulda been trying my hardest to slide it back down the wire a bit then get the hell out of there fast.
a saw a viper that had hit a box bean rail about 24” inches high with an angled terminus at about 35mph - flipped - killing the driver - total fluke
