Currently, I am starting a copy writing business. To build my portfolio, I did a few items pro bono. Now, I barter. When my website up, I start charging. My Monday morning appointment is rewriting a doula’s site. She is paying me by teaching me how to sew and knit.
Know how to cook at least a few simple dishes.
My Grandmother knew how to make superior doughnuts (not a simple dish), but her skill and willingness to sell them on streetcorners helped my family get through the Depression.
