"The Fiero was a s-box."

The early Fiero's were neat to look at, but had a lot to be desired. They got it just right by '88...just in time to cancel it.

Had they continued and turbocharged the V6 as planned, it would have been every bit the car the MR2 turned out to be.

Love the ‘65 Pontiacs. Pretty much all of them were great-looking cars.

One of my Uncles bought himself a new 1966 GTO when he came home from Vietnam. I loved that car and remember being pinned to the seat on more than one occasion. LOL Mom would’ve killed Dad if she knew how often he tok me out on the backroads drag racing when he was supposed to be babysitting. :) I had a wonderful time and was always bucked in in the back seat.

Fiero, it looked like sports care but drove like a truck. Wow, how did that make the list?

Doesn't seem like you ever drove the 1988 model which had a completely redesigned suspension system from the 1984 - 87 models. And yes, I am a Fiero fan. Got an '88 sitting in my garage that I bought new!

Actually there was only one great Pontiac. He was an Indian chief.

I drove the first year model. Was interested in buying. It was a hog baby. The Fiero came out the same year that the Isuzu Trooper hit the market. Now that was a good truck. BTW, it handled more like a sports car than the Fiero did. Glad to hear they got better. I never reconsidered them. I used to live in Rahway, NJ, where they were made. I remember the line being discontinued.

I agree. As far as I’m concerned it defines the word automobile.

The Fiero??? I borrowed one of those my freshman year of college and it felt like I was driving a box truck.

You’re right. I looked it up. It was changed dramatically in 2000.

I love the show ‘Breaking Bad’. Just love it - watch every episode.

It cracks me up that Walt drives an Aztek. And when theY are filming it it, you can hear and feel how rough it is, and all the sqeaks and rattles.

What a POS.

Not only did they skip Aztek, where is the Vibe? Don’t laugh, I own two and tell everybody they are rare collector models, no more to be made. That always impresses them ; )
