Bad thing to lose Better Off Ted but not surprising. A smart show doesn't have much of a demographic.
From BOT, Veridian Dynamics: Competition. It makes everything better.

Bring Michael Moriarty back to Law and Order and throttle back on the nonstop political correctness. The series could go on for several more years.
Yay. Worst show on TV.
ditto that....the political correctness crap drove me from the show...
Guess Law and Order ran out of Bush bashing episodes and now that the economy is tanking under the Democrats they can’t possibly think of anything negative to write about.
Jack @sses!
It seems like shows with complicated plot lines just aren't going to make it anymore.
I know maybe we can replace Flash Forward with yet another version of Wife Swap! [/sarc]
Mostly “D” Grade viewing. Law and Order was pretty PC and no Perry Mason.
I’m sure the producers minds are scratching to come up with some new, original “entertainment”.
I am really curious as to why people watch it. What do you come away with, except a few trite one liners, that makes you want to go back next week?
Who the hell is Wanda Sykes?
My husband likes to hear her..commedienne. I can’t listen because of all the nasty shots she takes at republicans (especially Sarah Palin). Hubby thinks she is funny regardless of her political views. Glad she has been cancelled.
How long do you think will that brainless show “Marriage Ref” last?
“The Gong Show” had more humor.
Sykes is the one who said she hope Rush Limbaugh’s kidneys fail, and 0bama guffawed.
Better Off Ted: Also (#$@%(#$*%(#$! Good show, but too biting and satirical for most people who need a laugh track to know when to laugh.
Scrubs Canceled: Again? Almost never watched it.
V Renewed by ABC: The first 4 episodes were interesting, but I never got back in after the long break. Who shows 4 episodes and then takes a few months off. 24 has the right idea - 24 episodes, no breaks.
that NBC is likely to cancel Heroes,: Not surprising. It started off well, but it looked like the producer had no master plan for the story and kept adding things each season without a big vision. I guess the "big vision" shows take too long to get going and get canceled like Flash Forward.
Firefly: still off the air. :-(
I’ve actually never seen any of these shows.
Mostly use my TV for the Food Network, Myth Busters, It’s Me or the Dog, the First 24 & DVD movies.
Oh, we watch The Big Theory, The Office & South Park, but that’s it for weekly shows. And my husband does record Red Eye.
A few years ago, I saw an awards show (don't remember which one) where Bill Cosby really shut her up. Wanda Sykes was roaming the audience, interviewing various celebrities at random. She walked up to Bill Cosby, shucking and jiving, and asked Cosby why his sitcom was so successful. Cosby just glared at her and said "because we spoke English." She didn't know what to say, and quickly moved on to someone else.
Who is she? Also, she’s not all that attractive. I don’t go for the dark, brooding bitchy type.
I have the entire season (yes, one season) on DVD. I can watch it over and over and still never tire of it.
I love watching "Jaynesville". It ranks in the top three eps.
L&O became so PC for me a few years ago that I only watch the reruns. With the loss of Lenny Brisco, Joe Farina, Adam Schiff, Arthur Branch, and a few others the program has become insufferably laden with white liberal guilt and a shameless soapbox for treating the courts as a venue to legislate.
It's nice to see such programs fail. It's like seeing an Intrade.com chart in decline for a liberal politician or a disappointing box office result for a Michael Moore film. The old (black and white) Perry Mason shows still hold up well. Perhaps it's because of the lack of liberal undertone.
