Jack Bauer Died Monday Night and Bush Derangement Syndrome Killed Him
big hollywood ^ | 5/11/10 | Orson Bean

Posted on 05/11/2010 6:14:09 PM PDT by Nachum

**If you TiVo there are Spoilers**

Who are you and what have you done with Jack Bauer? That’s what I wanted to scream at the pod person who starred on “24” last Monday. When the conservative creators of the show left and liberals took over, I was apprehensive. But by and large, the quality of the program kept up. I snorted, of course, when a bad character was threatened with torture by other bad guys. She was hauled into a medieval chamber filled with pincers, hot pokers and iron maidens. Then she was strapped down, a washcloth was draped over her mouth… and she was water boarded. Oy. Then, a week ago, Jack murdered her in cold blood, not to get information… she’d already been terrified into offering up the info… but just because he felt like it.

What?!

LOL! Hot Tabasco the Tiger Woods fan boy. How is that golf game going for Tiger slugger?

Everyone is outdriving him now and he could not hit a fairway if his life depended on it. I hit more fairways on the back nine last Sunday than Tiger hit at Quail Hollow *AND* TPC.

You’ll notice that Chuck Norris has never dared to cross Jack Bauer.

I don't have cable and haven't for about 30 years, so I may be wrong ... but wouldn't that qualify as a "Pay Per View Event"?

Orson may have watched every 24 episode, but he must never have seen the Ivan episode of Magnum. If he had, he’d have understood Jack.

"Ivan, did you see the sunrise?"

"Jack, what can I do?"
"Nothing."

What's the difference? This is why I don't get the ballyhoo over Jack and how he "degenerated" into a lib's idea of conservatives. He hasn't and he isn't. He's still the only one doing the American thing.

Jack Bauer doesn’t do Pay Per View.

EDGAR!! Oh thank you, 444Flyer, for resurrecting my fave character...
I agree with whoever said that Chloe and Jack will stage his death. But I don’t know about the romance part....they are just BFF’s. She has to redeem herself for turning on him temporarily this season though WAIT: and this question is just for hardcore 24 fans: Did Chloe ever really betray him or did it just seem that way?
They know each other very well...they understand how each other’s minds work. That will be very key to the ending of the show.

oh god no. You could be very right. But I don't think she pulls the trigger herself, but she orders them to kill him when he'll refuse to give up and they have him surrounded.

The female lib I work with brought up a very strong point about 24 this season. I think she started watching once the show was hijacked by leftist writers. She rightfully claimed that slowly over the past couple seasons, but especially this year, the female characters are all the ones most empowered and strong. And you know what, she's absolutely right. Freckles, President, Chloe, Amazon russina mole, Reporter, Hansan's wife. Meanwhile, all men are power hungry dbags, terrorists, cheaters, etc. Anytime a woman makes a bad decision, its because a M-A-N is always the root of her problems.

Jack's being slowly killed off by all the knives of the liberal agenda as he goes off the deep end and petty revenge/torture schtick.

The writers did this on purpose as the way to finish off Jack in the worst way possible. To turn him into the generalized image of everything liberals portray conservatives as. Its sad to see such a great show and character destroyed by this, but I guess the show held out as long as it could, before liberal hollywood got their parasitic teeth into it.

but instead of enjoying it, she’ll be scowling the whole time during the sex. We are talking about Chloe here.

Chloe always has that “hard at work” grimace.

Jack will work that out of her!

“Sprint.”

Can’t be, unless they’re sponsors. I had Sprint a few years ago and couldn’t make a call from in front of the store where I’d just bought it.

Thank you, G Larry. I am amazed at comments from those that know NADA about the show. You have to watch all season and preferably for all previous seasons to really understand Jack’s mind. On a Leftie blog, some are saying that Jack has jumped the shark and gone “too far” last night with his torture scene. They just don’t get it..That was all in a day’s work for our Jack.

Kiefer has a little “drinking” problem..but we won’t hold that against him, will we? Doesn’t seem to be interfering with his Jack Bauer obligations..

I gave it up towards the end of the first season. The episodes were excruciatingly slow because of all the soap opera relationship scenes. So boring. If I wanted to sit there and watch that kind of stuff, I'd watch those "Housewives of x" programs.
