Wasn’t it Paul that predicted the end of time about 2,000 years ago? That aside, it sure does not look good out in the world. It is not hard to imagine civilization as we know it coming completely undone in the coming few years.

I agree. Actually, I think a lot rests with the events of 1948 and Israel and related stuff (discovery of the dead sea scrolls, etc. and the 70th week of Daniel and “This generation shall not pass away until all these things take place. And in the Bible a generation is 70 years.

That gives us until roughly 2018.

Key word: Roughly. After all, nobody knows the day or the time, but we are to recognize the season.
