When will Ohio governor hopeful John Kasich fight back?

Posted on 05/09/2010 4:21:46 PM PDT by reaganator

A typical Democrat ploy is to demonize Wall St. and demonize any Republican ever associated with Wall St.

I understand most of the campaign money from Wall St. goes to Democrats.

Governor Strickland's class warfare campaign ads are doing just that attacking John Kasich for working for Lehman Brothers and supporting NAFTA. What is Kasich's history with Lehman Brothers? What were the benefits of NAFTA?

Democrats are stating that Republican failed trickle down economic policies is what created the current economic mess.

Are they ignorant are just deliberately lying scoundrels?

Politicians meddling with the banks and the mortgage industry is what caused the recession. Democrats are against tax cuts for small businesses, instead they portray them as "tax cuts for the rich".

President Bush's tax cuts and economic policies helped spur 50 consecutive months of economic growth, more than 8 million new jobs, real GDP grew by more than 17 percent and after-tax per-capita income increased by 12 percent. Then, in 2006, the Democrats regained majority control of Congress.

Nothing was inherited by Obama and the Democrat Governors, the Democrats had been in control of Congress for 2 years already.

The Democrats' will never have a solution to any problem that does not empower the government.

When will John Kasich start to fight back?

Kasich is being criticized for not releasing tax returns for the last x number of years. He is not required to do so by law, but the 'rats are using it to smear him and raise suspicions about what he is hiding. Typical predictable 'rat tactic. He should have been expecting it and prepared to deal with it.

” ... When will John Kasich start to fight back? ... “

If Kasich doesn’t fight back, then Kasich doesn’t deserve to win, and should have been eliminated in the primary process.
It’s just that simple.

This campaign is not about what John Kasich deserves or does not deserve, this campaign is about the future of Ohio.

Have you been in contact with Kasich campaign headquarters? Are they approachable? What are they telling you?

J Edgar,
Good point.
I have liked Kasish for a long time. Thought he was a little smarter than most of the scum that inhabits the halls of congress.
BUT if he hasn’t the moxie to fight?
And doesn’t matter if he was unopposed in any primary. Matters if he is willing to take a stand and fight for his views.
And, What exactly are his views?

I think Kasich thinks being the smartest guy in the room ought to be enough to get elected. The problem is he’s not and it’s not.

If Kasich had been opposed in the promary he would have been in a contest with other Republicans, not the lying scoundrel Strickland.

We saw what the “new tone” got us through the Bush years. No matter how ridiculous the accusations, if repeated enough and the Republican does not fight back, the voters start to believe the propaganda without doing research.

He’s a lot more intelligent than Strickland, or Taft, or Voinovich, or Celeste.

The bar isn't set very high then.
