I am exhausted and sun burnt. But it was a good day. Heh. A good day here, even if the Festival just didn't measure up to the preceding 38 years, but the sionnsareens are fast asleep and not very rusty. (My new "rain-hat" ---a snap-brim to keep the drizzle off the glasses-- provided cover from Evil Yellow Face this afternoon.)

Evil Yellow Face was hidden when we got home, but is out now here too. I am in hiding in the house.
OTOH, our new parishioner had family out this weekend. LoM took them on a drive around Mt. Rainier yesterday afternoon, after the house-blessing. They were going to go to Pike Place Market & the Space Needle today; but their timetable would have had them here in the precip, which as all they've seen since they arrived. I hope they got to see SOME sun here before returning to MI and PA.

There wasn’t that much clearance. The gate in the picture must be set up to keep out a big dog, because a creepy baby could easily get under it, just like the cat.
