FRiends, I have been exchanging emails with someone who voted for Obama, but I think they are starting to wake up to what he really is. Anyways, I mentioned that he hasn't released his academic records. She counters by saying she can't find Ronald Reagan's academic records either. I've done some searching and can't find them either. Can someone help me out here?

My response would be, so? Reagan is not President, if he were then it would be an issue.

I know his records from Eureka College are available at the Reagan Library. I don’t know how many are scanned in databases but you can see them in person.
Reagan didn’t need any. He was a public figure his whole life, world famous actor, president of SAG, two term Governor of California and in the public eye from his early years on. We know nothing about Obama. There isn’t even one picture of him when he was at Columbia. At that age, Reagan was playing George Gipp.
That will probably work out fine. If she wants to verify it then she can hop in the car.

Reagan was an average student that played Football, Swimming and Cheerleading. He studied economics and social studies but really excelled in acting.
His career in radio broadcasting is what launched him into acting and Hollywood when he was reporting on the Chicago White Sox spring training in LA, got a tryout at Warner and the rest is for historians.

Reagan had decades of a public record, as governor of a major state, and as speaker and writer, when he was elected. Barry had nothing but his word that he was an elite student and teacher when he declared himself the best man for the job.
Can someone give a quick outline of the significant differences between a certificate of live birth and the long form birth certificate?
Start with a reported fact like: "Editor of Harvard law review" then document the fact that there are no publications or issues of the Review bearing his name.
State by state differences. My COLB from Arizona has everything that a ‘long form’ contains. A COLB is a certification that the State legally recognizes your birth, a birth certificate is a record of the details of your birth.

A COLB is nothing but someone walking in, proving they are alive, and getting a certificate that says on that date the States certifies they were alive.
A birth certificate is a certificate that certifies that a person was born on a given day at a given location to a given mother.

Of course, I’m proposing getting Obama’s birth certificate while he’s still alive and while he’s running for President, again. That’s why we need to get those state laws that make it mandatory for a candidate to show his birth certificate or else he cannot be on the ballot in that state. (not sure, but I think Arizona got one through recently ... ).
Non-sequitur. Reagan was an actor by trade not an attorney, a doctor, a business executive or an economist. His professional qualifications were a matter of public record already.
Obama, on the other had, has almost nothing on the public record that would indicate this fitness to hold office, making his academic record more relevant (though generally I would argue against college grades as an indicator of intelligence).
This is similar to a resume - jobs or qualifications held lose relevance over time, so they’re edited or omitted entirely to make room for more recent items.
