I love reading these sports pages.
I see a Villanova graduate playing in his first major league game powered the Phils’ win.

It is weird to see players in uniform that I actually remember seeing in uniform live. Specifically, Leo Durocher. Didn’t Herman Franks also end up as a major league manager?

That's what I was thinking. I seem to remember him at the helm of the Giants. But not until after they moved out west somewhere.

Google says Franks managed the Giants in the ‘60s and the Cubs in the late ‘70s. Here is an interesting bio:
