To those of you who go into every Sarah Palin thread with your anti-Palin talking points and repeating everything you hear on ABC, NBC or CBS.
I have a question for you personally. This is a personal question.
What are you doing to further our cause in a time of grave national and international crisis ?
Have you traveled to dozens of states in the last few months ? (Sarah Palin has)
also,
How is the view from the peanut gallery ?
and
How is the breakfast with your Democratic friends down at the local Holiday Inn ?
Please get a life. You are doing nothing to further our cause. Do some soul searching, it must seem like a worthless existance spending your time on the net attacking one person with such vigor and such venom. I hope for a big purge and I hope it is soon.
“The loyalty tour is long past!”
That’s your opinion and your welcome to it.
“tisk tisk. Such language and during a FReepathon, too.”
Not my language. But a little salt is good for the soul.
It was you who implied that a VP must go along with whatever stance the Presidential candidate takes, like amnesty for example.
In my choice for a candidate, how they deal with illegal immigration is huge, always has been. For something that is so crucial to me, a stance of go along to get along does not cut it. I want my candidate to put National Security FIRST! I want a candidate that has the stones to day it out loud that there is NO PATH TO CITIZENSHIP if you are here illegally. I want my candidate to say build a fence! You cannot have an open border, virtual fencing, sanctuary cities, etc and say you are tough on National Security! I am not a single issue voter but that is a huge issue for me and not one I am willing to bend on.
That's principled lying, out of loyalty!
/sarcasm
“Thats your opinion and your welcome to it.”
That is NOT MY OPINION
That is a F A C T
“It was you who implied that a VP must go along with whatever stance the Presidential candidate takes, like amnesty for example.”
I’m not implying anything. It is reality that a VP supports the policies of the President, something we should be learning in 8th grade.
id George Bush believed Reagan’s econ policies were “voodoo” economics. Yet he supported the President...etc.
“That’s principled lying, out of loyalty!
/sarcasm “
Oh believe me, stick around long enough, and somebody will post it in earnest.
I forgot...you’re the one who can discern fact from opinion.
“The loyalty tour is long past!
That is a statement of opinion.
You are subjectively judging “loyalty”.
I know you won’t get this because you were unable to get it before lol.
Well if someone was paying me $100,000 a crack and throwing in first class tickets and hotel suites then I certainly would have.
What happened to the rest of my post?
I don’t like your editing!
“Palin is still at it every day! She is LYING like a rug about McCain every day on the radio in Arizona!”
Now, is that an OPINION, or a F A C T ??
“No. Those who dont see the political rationale for her supporting the man who gave her a national opportunity and put her on the stage...dont have reasoning ability.”
When I heard about Palin supporting McCain in AZ, I tried to make excuses for her decision too. The same excuses you are using. But then it occurred to me that those excuses were lame. Lame as McCain. To accept the premise that Palin just HAD to support McCain because she felt she owed him something means you must also accept that she chose loyalty to McCain over her conservative principles. She chose to support a candidate not based on whether or not they were the best conservative candidate, but rather out of an “I owe you one” friendship.
That’s a “payback to play”. I want Palin to stay true to her principles and her words. Aren’t you sick and tired of hearing our politicans say one thing and do another? I am.
And no, we don't know who's running, other than Romney, and Pawlenty are in. Huckabee is a probable, Sarah Palin seems to be as well.
There are names bandied about here that are unrealistic, such as Hunter and Bachmann plus a few others who are congressmen, and that's just unrealistic and la la land thinking. No congressman is going to get close to the nomination, it hasn't happened in over a century for good reason.
A couple of potential darkhorses, but the likelihood imho is it will come down to either Romney or Palin.
Palin is supporting McCain.
Get over it.
Cronyism over principle.
LOL!!
“I tried to make excuses for her decision too.”
No need to make excuses. It was a perfectly rational political move and it was loyal.
“The same excuses you are using. But then it occurred to me that those excuses were lame.”
Not an excuse from me. If you think the reasoning is lame then you can’t reason well on a political level.
What is the excuse for Lindsey Graham? Peeee Ewwwwww......that stinks to high heaven!
I did not know that......glad I came to this thread!
Palin is supporting McCain.
“”Cronyism over principle””
Nope. It’s called loyalty and politics where you try to get elected. Smart move.
Try reality. It’s sobering but it’s life.
Unfortunately there was no specifics to your challenge in the post, which kind of makes sense since it was from you. It must have made you feel good about yourself though, so try again with some specifics someday. Most Palin supporters don't read your posts because they're such trash, and this is an example of why.
