As a upland hunter who travels to texas for a little quail hunting now and then, your statement is all too true, especially in Austn and Houston. Nary a Texas twang amongst the young professionals I met in those two cities. Sad, really. After shooting a rattler that went after my guide’s Brittany, his wife wanted all the guide’s to confer “honorary Texan” status upon me. I told her I didn’t hae the accent down.
