Hmmmm!! notice similarities and patterns?
Notice how her son not wanting her to run for the Senate changed her mind. It's definitely a family affair.

"How can you justify your restraint in slamming the Clintons, Kennedys, Marion Barrys and other philandering, chauvinistic left-wingers of the world?" Palin wrote at the time. "Your yellow, liberal rag is so obvious. I pray we will someday have a choice in newspapers again." LOL, she sounded like one of us, I am really glad that she worked on refining her style to win larger elections, she seems more Reagan like now.

I guess she's become a bit more tactful in her rise to state and national prominence, but I love that she was writing this in a letter to the ADN back in 1993:
"How can you justify your restraint in slamming the Clintons, Kennedys, Marion Barrys and other philandering, chauvinistic left-wingers of the world?" Palin wrote at the time. "Your yellow, liberal rag is so obvious. I pray we will someday have a choice in newspapers again."

Our best Presidents - and you fill in the blank - were great because of who they were, not because of how many facts they could regurgitate. Character, good instincts, guts, charisma, the ability to inspire and bring out the best in others - these are the qualities we need in our next President, and Sarah Palin has them all.

Her independence captured an insurgent public mood, and by summer she was leading in the polls. Having lived through both Bushes and a part of the Obama monstrosity, I can't tell you just how refreshing an independent would be about now. By cutting ties with all things RINO, Sarah's ship would sail unmatched and unbeaten.
Al Gore and John Kerry, had they won, would have taken America to new lows without a doubt. They'd have dismantled her piece by piece.
Mr. Obama, cool as an iceberg, rips into the hull of America and we're not supposed to care? In my opinion these communists should have been more patient. 70-80 years may not have been long enough to spring Obama on us. I gotta ask, "What's the hurry?"
Could Mr. Cool have in store for us what lay ahead for passengers of the Titanic? 50% survival may sound like good odds to some, but explain that to the other 50%. And, just how like Lincoln might this president (cough, cough) be?

Notice how her son not wanting her to run for the Senate changed her mind. It's definitely a family affair. Yep, and as she described in Going Rogue, Iraq veteran Track now is really pissed off at how she had been treated in 2008 and is pushing her to take the fight right back to the liberals' door step, which she's doing in spades.

"It's the most remarkable campaign I've ever seen," said Babcock. "She's just running as Sarah Palin and talking about what comes up."

I love Sarah because she is a fighter. Most people would be institutionalized if they had to endure the smears and attacks that she has endured. Yet the harder they try to attack her the stronger she pushes back with the truth. I Know where she stands on all the issues and I agree with her on almost everything. Plus she is the most vetted candidate we have ever produced. I don't like that she is helping McCain, but I understand her reasons.
The 2012 election might seem far away, but we need anyone who is thinking of running to come forward soon and throw their hat in the ring. They will also need to be vetted as thoroughly as Sarah, because they are going to be attacked like she was unless they are a mushy rino. It takes a hell of a lot more than a few lame state run media debates to figure out what the candidates stand for. In fact I would like to see the GOP set up their own debates and leave the SRM out of the loop.
I will not vote for any of the 2008 GOP candidates. They were awful, and about as exciting as Alan Greenspan. Sarah was the only bright light that came out of the debacle.
