I am a Bengals fan, so I know all about risky picks (Akili Smith, Peter Warrick, David Klingler, Odell Thurman, Kijana Carter, Dan Wilkinson).

Dez Bryant can play on my team anytime. Tebow needs the right spot where he can grow into an NFL QB over a couple of years. I would take Tebow over Clausen, but not McCoy at QB.

I laffed at Clausen's press conference when he announced bolting for the NFL. He said he didn't have anything left to do at ND. I thought, Well, you could stay and WIN some games for your college! Yes, where are those 4 national championship rings, Mr C?

Bengals fan here as well (Being a Bengals fan is like being a Cubs fan...without the warmth and charm).

I agree Dez Bryant has a great shot at being a very good player in the NFL.

Tebow, however, at best will be a journeyman quarterback. I base it on watching him up close at the Sugar Bowl. Yep, he had a great game against the Bearcats...but the fact is it was against the Bearcats. His offense line with the Gators simply destroyed opposing defensive lines throughout his career. He won’t have that advantage at the pro level.

To me, he’s the Archie Griffen of quarterbacks.
