Where have you gone, Joe Dimaggio?
A nation lifts its lonely eyes to you, a-hoo hoo hoo.
What's that you say, Mrs. Robinson?
"Joltin' Joe" has left and gone away, a-hey hey hey.

Feller’s mark was toyed with this year, but it still stands. He is the only player to throw a no-no on MLB opening day. And as a Tribe fan, he is also one of my favorite all-time players. Of course, it’s his statue that stands outside Jacobs Field. (I don’t care what corporation’s name is on the wall. It’s still Jacobs Field.)
And in the photo of the President throwing out the first pitch, he is accompanied by his naval aide, Captain Daniel Callaghan. We will hear more about Captain Callaghan in November 1942, when as Rear Adm. Callaghan, he will be killed in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal. It was a battle which he managed quite poorly.
