Rapid Robert, at age 91, threw out the first pitch at Opening Day in Cleveland on Monday. He was a little high and inside but did one helluva lot better than our pansy-ass president did.

Feller is my all-time favorite pitcher. As a little league pitcher myself during the 60s, I wanted to throw a fastball like Bob Feller. Trivia: In one of the most famous photos ever taken, Babe Ruth is shown walking out to give his farewell speech at Yankee Stadium. He was very sickly at the time and needed the aid of a walking stick. In the photo, the Babe is seen using a baseball bat as his walking stick. It was Bob Feller's baseball bat, handed to Ruth by Feller as he came onto the field.
