Personally, I prefer my duck as a link sausage, smoked. Add in some fried potatos and ice cold beer, up north we just call that dinner.

One woman, Lorraine Lyon, tried to bring the ducks's ashes to the hearing but was unable to get them past security.

Duck ashes? Duck a l'orange in a Grecian Urn?

I really do hope these folks are at least ashamed. Make 'em pay.

Robert and Blain Aymond infuriated their Frenchman's Landing subdivision neighbors in Palm Beach Gardens, who showed up at a preliminary hearing en masse last month wearing yellow ribbons with pictures of ducks, The Palm Beach Post reported.

Some people have a strange sense of priorities.

“wearing yellow ribbons with pictures of ducks,”

I consider this an affront to our brave men and women that are currently serving in war! If I were in Palm Beach, I might just go kill more of their ducks.

We have all fallen down the rabbit hole. This is crazy. Murder is not a word you can use. But there are a whole lot of people out there now who see no difference between humans and critters. You should fear them.

Yet another poorly written article. Who owned the ducks? We are just supposed to guess, I suppose....

Most likely they were Muscovy ducks. They are all over the place in Florida. Especially these communities with lakes. They sh*t everywhere! I don’t blame them. People just feed them and keep feeding them, and they get pretty plump. When I was a kid we had them and they tasted pretty good.

Animals including ducks eat and crap....They have no idea it is your precious orchids. I have no problem with the people trapping them and removing them although it is an endless job. What kind of shelter takes in animals and euthanizes them and then cremates them...take them out to the everglades and release them. They can fight for their survival with all the other critters.

"They're sending pictures of ducks to the judge, putting signs up saying that my clients murdered the ducks."

It's impossible to murder a duck. Doesn't matter whether you kill the duck swiftly and painlessly, or torture it to death in a most hideous manner ... It's still not murder.

Why?

Because it's a friggin' DUCK!

Murder applies to people.

One energetic dog could have protected their orchids, they didn’t have to resort to capturing the ducks and disposing of them. My dogs would love to have ducks to chase out of the yard. That would be Heaven for them.
