True. Palin is doing a better job of pacing her speech it seems. Now if some speech coach could just get her to form her sentences in a normal pattern. Has anybody identified what's so odd about her speech. She always says things like “whom has ignored the will of the people” vs. he has... I love Sarah, but it makes her hard to understand.

Every once in a while I catch a piece of bozo speaking. He constantly mangles his grammar, not just the subjective/objective business but also the singular/plural thing. He speaks in excessive run-ons and frequently loses the connection between subject and verb. And him a college professor!

I think she rings her statements around with qualifications—that make her sound weak or hesitant.
Like:
“...dependent on foreign oil from people who perhaps don’t have America’s best interests at heart.”
Instead of:
“...we are buying oil from nations that sponsor terrorism.”
