It's now or never in the U.S. Senate.
"We're going to come back, we're going to have comprehensive immigration reform now," Sen. Reid declared over the weekend.
Yesterday, the Senate returned to Washington, and staffers were scrambling to fulfill Reid's promise that an Amnesty is the next big push.
Amnesty should be too unpopular for Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to tackle in an election year.
After all, a CNN poll released yesterday showed that 66% of Americans do not want the path to citizenship made easier for illegal aliens. According to the poll, only four in ten Democrats want those changes!
So why would Democratic leaders in Congress want to push amnesty, an extremely unpopular measure, now?
Bottom line is this: Reid knows the upcoming election is shaping up very badly for his party. He may lose his majority in the Senate. He very well may lose his own re-election bid. He's polling way behind in Nevada. He's almost out of tricks.
For Reid, passing an Amnesty bill is literally Now or Never! He wants to push through an amnesty now when he may have the votes to overcome a filibuster. And he must be stopped.
Last weekend, raucous illegal alien rallies were held in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and other cities. More are scheduled in Dallas and New York. This is being done with the $30 million raised by our opposition to fund "comprehensive immigration reform."
At a rally of illegal aliens and their supporters in Las Vegas Saturday, Reid said he believed he already had 56 Democratic votes for an Amnesty bill, just short of the 60 needed. And that doesn't count Sen. Lindsay Graham and other Republicans generally favorable to Amnesty.
Our opponents are desperate. I would just say that Reid is a blowhard politician who is obviously pandering to a certain crowd. But let's not make the mistake of taking this man too lightly. After all, he just succeeded in passing another pretty unpopular bill when everyone said it could not be done.
Obviously, Sen. Reid believes that turning 12 - 20 million illegal aliens into voters will help solidify his lock on power. It will shore him up, if you will.
Vote for amnesty for 20 million Hispanics and lose the black vote. Oh, wait... I forgot... blacks don’t show up at the polls...
Harry Reid is another in a long list of RATS!!
...and probably start a civil war. This is nothing but a bald faced perversion of citizenship all for the sake of keeping these anti-American, Constitution-ignoring, socialist fascists in power.
Ready on the right!

Ready on the left!
With all ammunition, lock and load!
Safety off!
And how many are Republicans, willing to join them?
FIRE!
Time for some more of that good old fashion activism, get in their faces, call, write, fax go to the town halls.
Any Republican that supports this travesty should be roundly defeated in a primary.
Somebody care to run by the CBO the cost to the American Taxpayer of making those 20million illegals suddenly legal and entitled? Welfare and Obamacare, a free house a car and a green energy job all courtesy of the Dictator In Chief (Kenyan) (DIC(K) ....
When I was was a teenager the board game “Risk” was popular. Towards the end of the game there were big swings in power as you would risk all on the roll of the dice in an effort to annihilate your opponent(s). If you spread yourself too thin, you would likely be swept over on the next round.
I see some real similarities here. Reconquista, anyone?
Stand in the gap. Hold the line for our honor and our posterity.
We have 17% unemployment and a stagnant (at best) economy and these fools want to grant amnesty and welfare to 20 million law breaking Mexicans and Central Americans who sneak in and kill innocent Ranchers and commit felonies and now represent 27% of our prison population? Yeah bring it on you jackasses. Make our day.

Any Republican who votes for this bill should have their brain examined. Do they want the Republicans to be a permanent minority?
They already have brought it on with Obamacare, amnesty is just an encore. There is absolutely nothing for them to lose by amnesty and there is one helluva LOT to gain. And there will be traitor pubbies like Miss Graham to help.
Reid is like a little kid that just got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He is shoving as many cookies into his mouth as he can, and knows he is going to get nailed—so he might as well consume all he can.
You mean girly man Gramnesty. What about our favorite Republican John McAmnesty?
